In Loving Memory of Mr. Danilo B. Estavillo
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of a man who gave so much of himself to the profession he loved — our former School Head, Mr. Danilo B. Estavillo.
For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, Sir Dan was more than an administrator. He was a mentor, a guide, and above all, a public servant in the truest sense of the word. He led not from behind a desk, but from the front lines of every school activity, every crisis, every quiet morning flag ceremony — always present, always ready to lend a hand.
His dedication to education was unwavering. He believed deeply that every learner deserved the chance to grow, to be heard, and to be cared for — not just academically, but as a whole person. Whatever the challenge, whether it meant staying late to finish reports, personally checking in on struggling students, or finding ways to support teachers carrying heavy loads, he met it with the same quiet, steady resolve.
But what many of us will remember most is his compassion. Sir Dan had a way of making every teacher, every staff member, every learner feel seen. He listened. He understood. He led with an open door and an open heart, treating the people around him not as subordinates, but as partners in the same mission — to serve, to teach, and to uplift.
He carried the weight of leadership with humility, and the responsibilities of his position with genuine care for the people he served. That is a rare kind of leader, and an even rarer kind of friend.
To his family, we offer our deepest condolences. To the school community he served so faithfully, we share in this loss together. His legacy lives on in every teacher he mentored, every learner he cared for, and every colleague whose life he touched with his kindness.
Rest well, Sir Dan. Your dedication, your compassion, and your service will never be forgotten.
— From your former colleagues, who were fortunate to have worked beside you.
