Stronger value chains require different parts of the industry to work together. 🌾

For Chairman Anthony S. Dizon, strengthening the Philippine food supply chain requires a holistic approach that brings together the different stakeholders across the agriculture sector.

Anthony S. Dizon is Chairman! 🌾

Dizon brings nearly three decades of experience in the cold chain industry, with extensive knowledge of cold storage, logistics, distribution, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

He is also the founding President of the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines - CCAP, which marks its 24th year in 2026. The association brings together companies and organizations across the cold chain and food sectors, working to advance food availability, security, and safety while promoting industry standards and regulatory compliance.

CCAP has also strengthened its links with industry organizations in the Philippines and abroad, including food and meat importer groups, the Global Cold Chain Alliance, and cold chain associations in Indonesia and Thailand. These relationships are part of efforts to expand industry cooperation and partnerships across ASEAN.

Dizon’s leadership is particularly relevant to this year’s theme, “Agri Food Hub Facilities: A Boost to Efficiency in the Value and Market Chains.” His experience brings an industry perspective on how cold chain, postharvest facilities, logistics, distribution, and other parts of the value chain can work together to reduce losses, preserve quality, strengthen food security, and improve market access.

Preparations for are moving forward as industry and government partners come together for this year’s international exhibition! 🌾

The second Agrilink 2026 Co-Organizers’ Meeting brought together representatives from co-organizers comprising government agencies and private trade associations representing different areas of Philippine agriculture and agribusiness. Through their respective expertise, industry networks, programs, and activities, the co-organizers help shape Agrilink into a platform that reflects the priorities, challenges, and opportunities across agriculture, food, aquaculture, and related industries.

The meeting also formally introduced Anthony S. Dizon, President of the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines (CCAP), as Chairman of Agrilink 2026. A longtime advocate for the development of the Philippine cold chain industry, Dizon brings decades of experience in cold storage, logistics, and food distribution. His leadership is particularly relevant to this year’s theme, “Agri Food Hub Facilities: A Boost to Efficiency in the Value and Market Chains,” which puts greater focus on the infrastructure and systems needed to preserve agricultural products, reduce losses, and connect production with markets.

Co-organizers also provided updates on preparations and activities planned for Agrilink 2026. Among these were initiatives from the Department of Agriculture, including the KADIWA Expo, which will be held alongside Agrilink and provide a platform for participating farmers, fisherfolk, and local enterprises to showcase their products and strengthen market linkages.

With more than 20 co-organizing institutions bringing different parts of the sector to the table, preparations continue for an Agrilink that connects government, industry, producers, enterprises, and other stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
