It is with great pleasure that we extend an invitation to interested participants to the 13th run of the UP National Institutes of Health (UP-NIH) Neuroscience Seminar Series โ a first of its kind and provides a unique opportunity to engage and introduce in the different fields of neuroscience from expert neuroscientists around the globe. A lecture will be conducted by the invited speaker and there will be an opportunity for the graduate students to interact with the speaker after the lecture.
The upcoming Neuroscience Seminar Series will be conducted in FACE-TO-FACE (also available via Zoom) at 9th Floor SIBOL, UP Manila and will be conducted by Dr. Gregory J. Quirk, Senior Scientist at the Behavioral Neuroscience Laboratory, UP-NIH and recipient of the 2025 Julius Axelrod Prize in Neuropharmacology and Mentoring from the U.S. Society for Neuroscience, a distinction endowed by the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation, which honors a scientist with distinguished achievements in the broad field of neuropharmacology (or a related area) and exemplary efforts in mentoring early career scientists.
