YDWB AT SK FEDERATION NG MAYNILA, TUMANGGAP NG NYC BALANGAY AWARD

Ginawaran ang Lungsod ng Maynila ng Balangay Award mula sa National Youth Commission (NYC) bilang pagkilala sa mga programa at inisyatiba nito para sa kapakanan, pakikilahok, at pag-unlad ng kabataang Manileño.

Tinanggap ang parangal nina Konsehal Yanyan Ibay, kinatawan ng SK Federation of Manila, at Manila Youth Development Bureau Director John Daniel Layno sa seremonyang ginanap sa Muntinlupa City. Dinaluhan din ito ng mga kinatawan ng mga Local Youth Development Office, SK Federation, at Local Youth Development Council mula sa iba’t ibang lungsod sa Metro Manila.

Patunay ang pagkilalang ito sa patuloy na pagsusulong ng Maynila tungo sa mas makabuluhan, inklusibo, at makataong serbisyo para sa kabataan.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 135 na inilabas ng Malacañang sa pagpapatupad ng alternative work arrangements sa National Capital Region gawa ng patuloy na pag-ulan dulot ng Habagat, 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻:

Para sa lahat ng lumusong o nababad sa baha, magtungo agad sa pinakamalapit na Health Center upang makatanggap ng 𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗢𝗫𝗬𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 bilang prophylaxis upang makaiwas sa leptospirosis.

Mga Batang Maynila, kaligtasan muna.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 135 na inilabas ng Malacañang, ipatutupad ngayong September 10 ang alternative work arrangements sa government offices sa Maynila dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan dulot ng Habagat.

Sa ating mga paaralan, alternative learning modes muna para tuloy ang pag-aaral, pero ligtas ang ating mga anak.

At sa mga frontliner ng serbisyo publiko—health, disaster response at iba pang vital services—tuloy ang serbisyo para sa mga Manileño.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
