NEWS ALERT: More than 1 million now fully vaccinated in Manila

About 1,000,206 persons have now been fully vaccinated in the City of Manila against COVID-19, data from the Manila Health Department (MHD) has shown.

As of 5:00 pm on Friday, September 10, about 1,294,142 have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 1,000,206 persons are now considered fully vaccinated.

Fully vaccinated individuals have received either two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or one shot of the Johnson&Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.

The MHD said it has already administered 2,255,541 jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine for the qualified population (persons 18 years old and above) since March 2021.

If data will be based from Department of Health (DOH) population estimates, about 74.01% of Manila's qualified population are already fully vaccinated.

Likewise, under Commission on Elections (Comelec) population data, about 93.90% of Manila's population are considered fully vaccinated.
