Panibagong linggo, panibagong mga pagkakataon. Let's make this week count! 💙

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭. 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐲𝐨𝐥𝐚! Isa sa mga santo na may debosyon talaga ako. Sa totoo lang, unang nakakuha ng attention ko yung fact na dati siyang sundalo. Bilang taong interesado rin sa history at military tradition, napaisip ako kung paano naging posible na ang isang taong sanay sa pakikipaglaban ay naging isa sa pinakamalaking halimbawa ng pagsunod sa Diyos.

Habang mas nakikilala ko ang buhay niya, doon ko na-realize na hindi pala tungkol sa pagiging sundalo ang dahilan kung bakit hinahangaan ko siya. Mas humanga ako sa desisyon niyang baguhin ang direksyon ng buhay niya matapos ang isang pangyayaring hindi niya inaasahan. Parang reminder siya na hindi tayo nakakulong sa kung sino tayo kahapon. Kayang baguhin ng Diyos ang puso ng kahit sino, basta handa tayong makinig.

Marami pa rin akong gustong matutunan mula kay St. Ignatius, lalo na yung pagiging intentional sa bawat desisyon at ang paghahanap sa kalooban ng Diyos kahit hindi ito ang pinakamadaling piliin.

St. Ignatius' prayer for generosity: "Dearest Lord, Teach me to be generous. Teach me to serve You as You deserve; To give and not to count the cost; To fight and not to heed the wounds; To toil and not to seek for rest; To labor and not to ask for reward, Save that of knowing that I am doing Your will".

St. Ignatius of Loyola, pray for us. AMEN!

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐥! Bata pa lang po ako, deboto na ako ng Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Kaya naman tuwing July 16, hindi ko pinalalampas ang pagkakataong magsimba, magdasal, at magpasalamat sa lahat ng biyayang natanggap ko mula sa Diyos sa pamamagitan ng ating Mahal na Ina.

Maraming salamat, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, sa iyong walang sawang paggabay, pagprotekta, at pag-akay sa akin sa bawat yugto ng aking buhay.

Nawa'y patuloy mong ipanalangin ang bawat isa sa amin. Pagkalooban mo kami ng matatag na pananampalataya, mabuting kalusugan, kapayapaan sa aming mga puso at tahanan, at patuloy na ilapit kami sa iyong Anak.

As part of the 2026 National MSME Week celebration, JCI Pasay is set to launch a series of MSME caravans across Metro Manila in collaboration with government agencies, private-sector partners, and other stakeholders.

The caravans will provide aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with access to business learning sessions, enterprise development programs, innovation and digitalization initiatives, financial literacy workshops, and networking opportunities with financing and support institutions. The initiative aims to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) strengthen their operations, expand their market reach, and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving business environment.

JCI Pasay's MSME development efforts began earlier this year with the MSME Mindset and Development Learning Session held in February. The program, officially opened by President Gabriel Ross G. "Gab Sebastian" Cunanan, introduced aspiring entrepreneurs and young professionals to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business management, enterprise development, and sustainable business practices.

The organization will also participate in the upcoming MSME Summit 2026 at the SM MOA Music Hall in Pasay City, organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) under the leadership of Secretary Cristina Aldeguer-Roque, in partnership with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Philippines, the MSMED Council, and Go Negosyo. The summit will bring together government officials, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and business stakeholders to discuss emerging opportunities, innovation, and strategies for strengthening the growth and competitiveness of Philippine MSMEs.

In support of the DTI's MSME development agenda, President Gab Sebastian Cunanan emphasized the importance of empowering entrepreneurs through accessible training, strategic partnerships, and business development opportunities. He noted that JCI Pasay remains committed to working alongside government agencies, the private sector, and development partners to expand opportunities for entrepreneurs while contributing to a stronger, more innovative, and globally competitive MSME sector.

National MSME Week is a nationwide observance recognizing the significant contributions of Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises to the country's economic development. Through its programs and strategic partnerships, JCI Pasay continues to promote entrepreneurship as a catalyst for business growth, economic resilience, and sustainable nation-building.

[A] Dumalo si Mr. Gabriel Ross G. "Gab Sebastian" Cunanan sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Maynila at sa State of the City Address ni Kagalang-galang Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso, Punong Lungsod ng Maynila.

Ang naturang pagtitipon ay naging pagkakataon upang makibahagi sa isang makasaysayang pagdiriwang na nagbibigay-pugay sa mayamang kasaysayan, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Bilang isang taong ipinanganak, lumaki, at namuhay sa Maynila, nananatiling malapit sa puso ni Gab Sebastian Cunanan ang lungsod na naging tahanan at humubog sa kanyang pagkatao.

Patuloy na ipinapakita ni Gab Sebastian Cunanan ang kanyang suporta sa mga gawaing nagtataguyod ng pagkakaisa, pakikilahok ng mamamayan, at pagpapatibay ng ugnayan sa pagitan ng iba't ibang sektor ng lipunan.
