Driven by excitement for another fruitful school year and desire to contribute on creating safe and conducive spaces for learning, teachers, non-teaching staff, parents, learners, and other volunteers showed their full support as Mangatarem National High School enters day 3 of Brigada Eskwela on June 3, 2026.
To disseminate important updates on the learning systems, the school held Parents General Assembly. These were comprehensively discussed by Dr. Elvira C. Viray, Principal IV. She informed the parents and guardians on the significant updates as stipulated on the latest Department of Education (DepEd) issuances including the implementation of three-term school calendar, new grading system, and the Strengthened Senior High School curriculum. Parents and guardians also had the chance to raise concerns and ask questions when Dr. Viray opened the floor for queries.
Dr. Juben S. Magalong, MT-II and Guidance Counselor Designate, led the parents orientation on the prohibited acts and corresponding penalties and sanctions, as well as the prescribed uniforms based on the learners code of conduct of the school.
Subsequently, the accomplishments of the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) in the previous school year, and financial report were presented by Mrs. Lanie Rose S. Lorena, SPTA President, and Mr. Rex E. Bañaga, SPTA Treasurer, respectively.
The school also gained support from our partners and stakeholders, reaffirming our continued partnership for the betterment of learners. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the following:
• Mangatarem LBT - free haircut for all personnel and volunteers
• Producers Bank - snacks
• China Bank - paints
• Lerniq - hand soap and dishwashing liquid
• Adessa - Trash cans and others
• SBM Luna Calugay - cash donation
With our collective efforts we not only create brighter classrooms but also brighter futures.
