𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒: PH, South Korea Ink Largest-Ever KOICA Project to Build National Cyber Security Center
In line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr's directive to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity, the Philippines, through Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Republic of Korea, through Korea International Cooperation Agency signed a Records of Discussion on April 27, 2026 in Quezon City, for the establishment of the Philippines’ National Cyber Security Center for Enhancing Cyber Crisis Response Capabilities.
The five-year project, aims to strengthen the country's information security management capabilities; establish a National Cyber Security Center; and enhance crisis response, and develop more skilled cybersecurity professionals.
Through this partnership, both countries deepen their cooperation in advancing cybersecurity initiatives and building a more secure and resilient digital Philippines.

Building a Digital Mangaldan: Serbisyong Matibay, Walang Kapantay

The Local Government Unit of Mangaldan, under the leadership and initiative of Municipal Mayor Hon. Bona Fe de Vera-Parayno, continues to institutionalize digital governance through the deployment of ICT-enabled management information systems and e-governance platforms, in support of Republic Act No. 12254 (E-Governance Act) and in compliance with the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA).

These initiatives are strategically aligned with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) eGov Master Plan, particularly its objectives on integrated and interoperable government systems, shared digital services, secure and resilient ICT infrastructure, data-driven governance, and citizen-centric service delivery, while adhering to the policy directions of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

These efforts are aligned with the DICT eGov Master Plan, focusing on:
