๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐: PH, South Korea Ink Largest-Ever KOICA Project to Build National Cyber Security Center
In line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr's directive to strengthen the countryโs cybersecurity, the Philippines, through Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Republic of Korea, through Korea International Cooperation Agency signed a Records of Discussion on April 27, 2026 in Quezon City, for the establishment of the Philippinesโ National Cyber Security Center for Enhancing Cyber Crisis Response Capabilities.
The five-year project, aims to strengthen the country's information security management capabilities; establish a National Cyber Security Center; and enhance crisis response, and develop more skilled cybersecurity professionals.
Through this partnership, both countries deepen their cooperation in advancing cybersecurity initiatives and building a more secure and resilient digital Philippines.
