RA 12326 IS NOW SIGNED INTO LAW! | BSKE MOVED TO 2028

A new chapter begins for our Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has signed Republic Act No. 12326, fixing the term of office of elected Barangay and SK officials at five (5) years and moving the next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) to the second Monday of November 2028.

โ€ข ๐Ÿ“š Continuing training and capacity-building for Barangay and SK officials
โ€ข โš–๏ธ Accountability and existing legal liabilities remain in effect

Today, we conducted the Special Election for the Vice President of the SK Federation of Mandaue City, filling the position vacated by Hon. Jacquardole Oplado.

Congratulations to Hon. Bianca Leighne Malig-on, newly elected Vice President of the SK Federation! With her election, Hon. Keith Justine Tibon is appointed as the new Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Federation.

May this new chapter bring renewed purpose, collaboration, and commitment as we continue serving the Mandauehanon youth. โœจ

Today, the SK Chairpersons of Mandaue City convened for our September Regular Session to discuss important matters concerning the Federation and our continued work for the Mandauehanon youth.

Among the matters discussed were the resignation of the Federation Vice President and Public Relations Officer, Hon. Jacquardole Oplado and Hon. Janell Ardon, respectively, the amendment and scheduling of the Special Elections, Notices to Explain (NTEs) and the necessary orientation for those who were unable to attend the planning, as well as the accomplishment and liquidation reports for our International Youth Day 2026 activities.
