My artwork shows a person reaching for a bright light. The glowing light represents everything meaningful in life like hope, love, and family. Meanwhile, the dark hands and scattered pills around him represent the lies, temptation, and addiction brought by drugs. the chains on his hands show how drugs can trap and control a person, pulling them away from true happiness and reality. The smiley faces represent the so-called β€œhappy pills,” which give false happiness, only temporary pleasure that hides pain.

Drugs are harmful and can damage vital organs, which is why I scribbled his heart in black to show weakness and illness, and the skulls beneath him represent something far worse, which is death. I also drew several elements at the lower part showing the dark side to show one of the possible effects of drug use β€” hallucinations.

Drugs are lies that promise peace but leave your life in ruins.
