In celebration of Pride Month, SAMHSO stands proud and loud with the rainbow fam ๐ŸŒˆ โœจ

June 26, 1994, when it all began for our fellow Filipinos in the LGBTQIA+ Community. The demonstration dubbed as โ€œStonewall Manilaโ€ marked the first pride march in the Philippines and in Asia. This display of bravery and advocacy has built the community stronger and has evolved to years of month-long celebration in the Philippines every June and to nowโ€™s Theme Love, Laban with the hashtag .

True to its theme, Pride Month in the Philippines does not only celebrate the colorful and vibrant Love to and from the community, it is also a campaign to continue fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights under the law.

Malampusong gipahigayon ang duha ka adlaw nga Orientation for Drug-Free Workplace Program ug Balay Silangan Operations niadtong Mayo 14-15, 2026 sa Danao Coco Palms Resort, sa pakig-alayon ug ubos sa pagpanguna sa PDEA Mandaue.

Gibuhat ni nato aron mas mapalig-on ang proseso sa Drug-Free Workplace Program. Dungan niini, tumong usab nga mas mapalambo pa ang kalidad sa serbisyo nga ginahatag sa Balay Silangan Reformation Program.

Niadtong May 4, 2026, gipahigayon ang Annual Re-orientation for the Barangay Drug Clearing Program, nga gipangulohan sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, aron ma refresh ang mga nagpadagan sa BDCP sa mga Barangays.

Gi-inspeksyon ug gi-check sab ang mga folders ug requirements sa matag barangay aron maseguro nga compliant ang tanan. Gawas niana, gi-asikaso sab ang pag-apply sa mga eligible ug drug-cleared barangays para sa Drug Clearing Retention Program aron mapadayon ang kampanya batok sa ilegal nga droga.

Kaniadtong Abril 2026, 27 ka mga barangay ang malampusong nakahimo sa ilang binulan nga BADAC meeting, subay sa resolusyon nga ilang gi-aprubahan. Dili lang na, nakig-uban pa sila sa ubang miyembro sa BADAC ug sa SAMHSO aron mas molig-on ang ilang trabaho.

Subay sa gi-aprobahan nga resolusyon, kining regular nga panagtapok importante kaayo aron makig-coordinate, hisgutan ug i-review ang tanang kalihokan sa mga barangay, ug sa pag himo og komunidad nga mas luwas, mas himsog, ug labing minus sa aktibidad bahin sa ilegal nga droga.
