๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ - Following the convening of the Coast Guard Radio Operations and Maintenance Specialization Course (CGROMSC) Class 29-2026 and Coast Guard Information System Technician Specialization Course (CGISTSC) Class 07-2026 at Headquarters Coast Guard Southwestern Mindanao (CGDSWM), the Superintendentโs Huddle Time commenced, led by COMMODORE PAMELA DELA CRUZ DOLINA PCG, Superintendent of the CGWCEIS Training Institute. More than a briefing, the huddle served as an open forum and direct conversation with the students, giving them an opportunity to raise questions, share concerns, and receive guidance directly from the Superintendent.
During the huddle, the Superintendent encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined, and determined as they navigate the demands and challenges of their respective courses. She motivated them to maximize every learning opportunity and persevere in their pursuit of their respective ratings, emphasizing that the training journey is not only about acquiring technical knowledge and skills but also about developing competence, confidence, discipline, and readiness for actual Coast Guard duties.
The Superintendent likewise underscored the importance of adhering to the training standards set by the Institute, emphasizing that excellence should not merely be a goal to achieve at the end of the course, but the standard to embrace throughout the entire learning journey. She reminded the students that discipline, teamwork, commitment, and strong professional character are essential in becoming competent and dependable Coast Guard specialists.
Beyond technical proficiency in radio operations, maintenance, and information systems, the students were reminded of the greater purpose of their trainingโto prepare them for the responsibilities of their respective ratings and enable them to contribute effectively to the Philippine Coast Guardโs mission of ensuring maritime safety and security.
As CGROMSC Class 29-2026 and CGISTSC Class 07-2026 embark on their respective training journeys, the Institute continues to inspire its students to learn with purpose, train with discipline, build competence and character, and embrace excellence as the standard.
