Good news, furparents! 🥰 The cats that were previously captured and underwent TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) along Barangka Drive have now been successfully released back to their community. 🐱🏡

Through TNVR, we help manage the community cat population while promoting healthier and safer lives for our feline friends. 💙

🐾 A blessed day for our beloved pets and the community! 🙏❤️

Earlier today, pet owners and their furry companions gathered at San Roque de Mandaluyong Parish for a meaningful celebration that began with a Pet Blessing in honor of our beloved animals. 🐶🐱🙏

Following the blessing, the Mandaluyong City Veterinary Office, together with the parish and our partners, conducted a Free Mass Anti-Rabies Vaccination to help protect our beloved pets and, more importantly, our entire community against rabies.

Thank you to everyone who brought their pets and participated in today's activity! 💙💛

Because protecting our pets also means protecting our families and our community.

🐱 ANO ANG TNVR?

Ang TNVR ay nangangahulugang Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return.

Ito ay isang programa na pangunahing nakatuon sa mga pusang gala o community cats. Sila ay hinuhuli nang maayos at makatao, kinakapon, binabakunahan, at ibinabalik sa lugar kung saan sila nahuli.

Layunin nito na makatulong sa pagkontrol ng dumadaming community cats sa pamamagitan ng makatao at responsableng paraan.

🏠 ANO NAMAN ANG FREE SPAY & NEUTER PROGRAM?

Ito ay hiwalay na programa para sa mga alagang a*o at pusa. Layunin nitong matulungan ang mga pet owners na mapakapon ang kanilang mga alaga bilang bahagi ng responsableng pag-aalaga at pagkontrol sa populasyon ng mga hayop.

📌 MAHALAGANG PAALALA:

Ang aming Free Spay & Neuter Program ay KASALUKUYANG NAKA-PAUSE.

Ibig sabihin, hindi po ito kasalukuyang tumatanggap ng bagong schedule o aplikasyon.

Ang kasalukuyang TNVR activities ay hindi nangangahulugan na nagbalik na ang Free Spay & Neuter Program. Magkaiba po ang dalawang programa sa layunin, benepisyaryo, at paraan ng pagpapatupad.

💙 Sana ay makatulong ang infographic na ito upang mas maunawaan natin ang pagkakaiba ng dalawang programa.

Kapag may paglilinaw at tamang impormasyon, mas maayos nating maipatutupad ang ating mga programa para sa kapakanan ng mga hayop at ng komunidad.

🚨 JOINT OPERATION: SPOILED MEAT PRODUCTS CONDEMNED

Today, the Mandaluyong City Veterinary Office - Meat Inspection, in coordination with the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), conducted a joint inspection and enforcement operation involving a truckload of meat products found to be spoiled and unfit for human consumption.

The affected meat products were properly condemned and will be disposed of in accordance with existing meat safety and food safety regulations.

This joint effort underscores our commitment to protecting the public from unsafe food products and ensuring that only safe, wholesome, and properly inspected meat reaches our communities.

👮‍♂️🐄 Public safety and food safety remain our priority.

📢🐱 TNVR PROGRAM ALERT! 🐾

The Mandaluyong City Veterinary Office will be conducting a T.N.V.R. (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) activity tomorrow, August 21, at Barangka Drive, Mandaluyong City!

This initiative is in collaboration with Biyaya Animal Care Foundation to promote a humane and sustainable approach to managing our community cat population.

Through TNVR, community cats will be:
🐾 Trapped
✂️ Neutered
💉 Vaccinated
🏠 Returned to their familiar territory after proper recovery.

Together, we can help promote humane population control, rabies prevention, and a safer, healthier community for everyone.
