To celebrate the sovereignty of our nation, the BFP Mandaluyong City participated in the simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony held at the BFP Parking Ground, Maysilo Circle, Plainview, Mandaluyong City.

The event commenced with an invocation prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the recitation of the Panunumpa sa Watawat. Personnel also pledged their commitment by reciting the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan and singing the BFP Hymns.

The Mandaluyong City Fire Station, under the leadership of ๐…๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐‰๐‹ ๐€๐€๐‘๐Ž๐ ๐ ๐‚๐€๐‘๐Ž, City Fire Marshal continued the Technical Rope Rescue and Emergency Care Training at the National Center for Mental Health, Nueve de Pebrero, Barangay Mauway, Mandaluyong City.

Day 2 emphasized the systematic ๐ž๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฌโ€™ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ, reinforcing their operational readiness in both rope rescue and emergency care. Two groups composed of station personnel, were assessed on their ability to recognize hazards, correctly don and utilize personal protective equipment, and effectively integrate specialized rescue tools including ropes, carabiners, ascenders, descenders, and the Rescue Litter.

Instructors facilitated hands-on evaluations, observing participants as they executed return demonstrations of the techniques learned. This assessment highlighted their ability to apply knowledge in simulated rescue scenarios, reinforcing competence and preparedness for real-world emergencies.

The Mandaluyong City Fire Station, under the leadership of City Fire Marshal ๐…๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐‰๐‹ ๐€๐€๐‘๐Ž๐ ๐ ๐‚๐€๐‘๐Ž, successfully conducted Technical Rope Rescue and Emergency Care Training for Batch 02 at the National Center for Mental Health, Nueve de Pebrero, Barangay Mauway, Mandaluyong City.

The training covered an overview of rope rescue operations and emergency care procedures, emphasizing hazard recognition, proper use of personal protective equipment, and integration of rescue tools such as ropes, carabiners, ascenders, descenders, and spine boards.

Following the lecture proper, instructors facilitated practical demonstrations to enhance participantsโ€™ operational knowledge and skills. Trainees then performed return demonstrations, applying the techniques and procedures they had learned to ensure readiness in real-world rescue scenarios.
