Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 131, ipatutupad ang alternative learning modes sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa National Capital Region (NCR) at mga tinukoy na lugar sa Agosto 20, 2026.

Layunin nitong matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at pagpapatuloy ng pagkatuto sa kabila ng banta ng masamang panahon.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Please be guided by the important dates for the completion of Term 1 and the transition to Term 2, pursuant to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026.

🗓️ September 2–4, 7–8 – ARAL, Completion of Grades and Forms, and Co- & Extra-Curricular Activities
🗓️ September 9 – PTA and Distribution of Cards
🗓️ September 10–11 – Teachers’ INSET | Wellness Break of Learners
🗓️ September 14–15 – Wellness Break of Teachers and Learners
🗓️ September 16 – Start of Term 2

School heads, teachers, learners, parents, and other stakeholders are encouraged to take note of these dates and plan accordingly.

Nakibahagi ang pamunuan, mga g**o, magulang, mag-aaral, at iba pang miyembro ng Ilaya Barangka Integrated School sa Ika-8 Araw ng Nobena at Banal na Misa bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Kapistahan ni San Roque, Agosto 14, 2026, sa San Roque de Mandaluyong Parish.

Sa sama-samang pananalangin, ipinakita ng Ilayan ang diwa ng pagkakaisa, pananampalataya, at malasakit sa kapwa bilang bahagi ng makabuluhang paggunita sa Kapistahan ni San Roque.
