LEADER SENTRY is a structural stability monitoring device made by LEADER for firefighters, USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) teams, and rescue operations.

It uses a laser beam to continuously monitor movement of an unstable structure. If the structure moves beyond a preset limit, SENTRY activates an audible alarm and flashing lights, warning rescuers that the structure may be becoming dangerous.

🚨 What is it used for?

LEADER SENTRY can help monitor:

🏚️ Collapsed or unstable buildings
🚗 Vehicle/road accident scenes
⛏️ Trench rescue operations
🏔️ Landslides or unstable masses
🔥 Buildings affected by fire
🏗️ Shoring and structural-support areas

The purpose is to warn rescue personnel before dangerous structural movement or possible collapse occurs.

🔴 How does it work?
Position SENTRY in a safe location away from the unstable structure.
Aim the laser at a specific point on the structure.
SENTRY continuously measures changes in the laser's target position.
A movement threshold can be selected, from 2 mm to 100 mm.
If movement exceeds the selected threshold, a 105 dB alarm and visual flashing lights alert the rescue team.

The current LEADER SENTRY can detect movement as small as 1 mm at a distance of 50 meters.
