PBBM deepens diplomatic and defense partnership with the U.S.

In an engagement underscoring the enduring alliance between the Philippines and the United States, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. formally welcomed U.S. Ambassador Lee Lipton and U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor at Malacañan Palace for high-level talks on expanding bilateral cooperation. The meeting holds profound historical significance as both nations celebrate 80 years of formal diplomatic relations and 75 years of the Mutual Defense Treaty.

During the discussion, the leaders explored strategic avenues to further bolster joint economic initiatives, enhance national security frameworks, and foster sustainable trade partnerships that directly benefit the Filipino people. Isang mainit at taos-pusong pagbati ang ipinaabot ng buong pamilya ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) sa ating Executive Vice President at Cabinet Secretary, Sec. Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr., sa pagdiriwang ng kanyang kaarawan ngayong araw!

Bilang Executive Vice President ng ating partido at isa sa mga pinagkakatiwalaang katuwang ng ating Pangulo sa Gabinete, patuloy na nagiging ehemplo si Sec. Benhur ng tapat, maaasahan, at may-malasakit na pamumuno. Ang kanyang malawak na karanasan sa pamamahala at dedikasyon sa paglilingkod-bayan ay nagsisilbing matibay na pundasyon sa pagsusulong ng mga programa ng PFP para sa kaunlaran ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino.

Pres. Marcos Jr. and SAP Lagdameo Jr. lead Camiguin port modernization

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., joined by Special Assistant to the President Anton Lagdameo Jr., spearheaded a major infrastructure development mission in Northern Mindanao by inspecting the new Port Operations Building and leading the formal inauguration of the Benoni Port Light Craft Landing Station in Mahinog, Camiguin. This double-facility launch marks a pivotal achievement in the administration's nationwide transport agenda, specifically designed to accelerate maritime trade, stimulate the local tourism industry, and uplift grassroots livelihoods across the region.

The Benoni Port Light Craft Landing Station introduces the facility’s first dedicated zone exclusively for light vessel operations, significantly separating small crafts from the main harbor to streamline maritime traffic, eliminate port congestion, and enhance overall navigational safety. Complementing this, the newly constructed three-story Port Operations Building functions as a modern, one-stop hub engineered to elevate passenger comfort, optimize public service delivery, and fortify the critical maritime linkages connecting Camiguin to the Port of Jagna in Bohol and the Port of Balingoan in Misamis Oriental.

In line with this infrastructure master plan, President Marcos Jr. directed the immediate and continuous development and modernization of the neighboring Port of Balbagon and Port of Guinsiliban. The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas-led administration remains firmly dedicated to expanding inter-island connectivity and delivering more reliable public transportation services to every Filipino community.

PBBM, Pinangunahan ang National Kick-Off ng Expanded School Feeding Program

Opisyal nang pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., kasama ang Department of Education (DepEd), ang National Kick-Off ng School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) at Milk Feeding Activity ngayong araw sa Pulilan Central School sa Bulacan.

Para sa School Year 2026-2027, mas pinalakas pa ng administrasyong Marcos ang laban kontra undernutrition sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatupad ng universal feeding para sa lahat ng mag-aaral sa Grade 1 sa buong bansa.

Higit sa 775 na mag-aaral sa Pulilan Central School ang agad na nakinabang sa unang araw ng flagship program na ito.

His proven track record in local governance and administrative leadership will be vital in coordinating the implementation of the administration's priority programs and policies.

After nearly four decades as a lower-middle-income economy since 1987, the World Bank’s latest classification elevates the Philippines into the upper-middle-income tier, joining economies with a gross national income per capita between $4,636 and $14,375.

President Marcos Jr. emphasized that this development serves as an affirmation of the effectiveness of the administration's economic policies over the past four years, as well as a strong validation of the resilience of the Filipino people. Despite ongoing global economic uncertainties, the country’s steady growth, broadly stable currency, and long-term structural reforms have successfully shielded and strengthened the domestic economy. House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III and Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos have filed House Bill No. 9965, or the proposed Children’s Social Media Safety Act. This landmark legislation seeks to establish the Philippines’ first comprehensive regulatory framework to shield Filipino minors from cyberbullying, online exploitation, and harmful digital content.

Under the proposed measure, children under 13 will be prohibited from creating social media accounts, while minors aged 13 to 17 will require verifiable parental consent and active supervision. The bill places strict legal obligations on social media companies, mandating robust age-verification systems, default maximum privacy settings, and algorithm regulations, with non-compliant platforms facing fines of up to ₱50 million or potential operational bans.

SAP Lagdameo, Pinagtibay ang Adhikaing 'MAS ASENSO' para sa Northern Mindanao sa 145th RDC-X Meeting

Patuloy ang ugnayan ng administrasyong Marcos at ng mga rehiyonal na pamahalaan para sa inklusibong pag-unlad. Personal na dumalo si Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Anton Lagdameo Jr. sa ika-145 na Full Council Meeting ng Regional Development Council ng Northern Mindanao (RDC-X) sa Cagayan de Oro City nitong Hunyo 30, 2026.

Layunin ng pagpupulong na ito na mas mapagtibay ang kolaborasyon sa pagitan ng pambansang pamahalaan at mga lokal na yunit upang isulong ang "MAS ASENSO Northern Mindanao Agenda.”

Tinalakay sa nasabing meeting ang mga prayoridad sa ekonomiya, imprastraktura, at social development na mahalaga sa pagbangon at pangmatagalang pagsulong ng rehiyon. The Office of the Special Assistant to the President warns the public against individuals and groups misrepresenting the Office for fraudulent and unlawful activities.

This advisory is issued following reports of individuals and groups falsely claiming to be connected with the OSAP to solicit money or financial assistance from local government units and the general public.

The Office of the Special Assistant to the President, its officials and staff, do not, and will never, solicit funds, request financial assistance, or conduct official transactions through informal communication such as SMS or private messaging applications.

Local government units, their executives, officials, and staff are advised to exercise extreme caution and verify any funding or project-related directives claiming to originate from the OSAP by validating them exclusively through established institutional channels.

The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious solicitations or communications claiming to represent the OSAP to: [email protected].
