The 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 reiterates its strong belief and support for our President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. We categorically denounce the accusations made by Zaldy Co regarding the involvement of the President in the alleged budget insertions pertaining to the flood control investigation. We condemn these anomalies. PBBM will not allow these illicit actions under his administration, as exemplified by his order to investigation the flood control mess.

The allegations put forward by Zaldy Co against the President are entirely roundless. We challenge Mr. Co to return to the country to verify and substantiat is statement. We urge him to stop making baseless and unjust accusations withou any proof.

𝗣𝗙𝗣 remains united in upholding the Marcos Administration's firm stance 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Today marks the celebration of the 25th International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction.

In working toward a more resilient future, let us remember those who were most affected during the preceding typhoons and earthquakes. We owe it to them, as public officials and civic-minded citizens, to promote good governance, establish DRRM programs, and fund resiliency initiatives to better prepare our fellow Filipinos.

Natural disasters can be avoided. As members of our communities, it is our duty to work together and ensure the safety of our most vulnerable sectors.

Walang maiiwan sa bagong Pilipinas!

Sa pakikipagtulungan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Pampanga, personal na iniabot ni PBBM ang tulong at suporta para sa mga Aeta communities sa Pampanga.

Layunin ng inisyatibong palakasin ang kanilang kabuhayan, mapabuti ang kalidad ng kanilang pamumuhay, at matiyak na sila ay kabahagi ng pag-asenso ng bansa.

Pinangunahan ni House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III ang pagdiriwang ng World Teachers’ Day sa Isabela Convention Center noong Oktubre 8, bilang pagkilala sa mahalagang papel ng mga g**o sa paghubog ng kinabukasan ng kabataan at sa pagpapaunlad ng bansa.

Sa harap ng mahigit 2,000 g**o mula sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, ipinahayag ni Speaker Dy ang kanyang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa dedikasyon, sakripisyo, at walang sawang paglilingkod ng mga g**o, sa kabila ng mga hamon ng kanilang propesyon.

“Bilang kinatawan ninyo sa Kongreso, mananatiling pangunahing layunin natin ang maisulong ang mga panukalang batas at programang magpapabuti sa kalagayan ng ating mga g**o, mula sa makatarungang sahod at benepisyo hanggang sa mas maraming oportunidad para sa propesyonal na pag-unlad,” ani Dy sa kanyang talumpati.

Binigyang-diin ng Speaker na patuloy ang Kongreso sa pagsusulong ng mga batas at programang magpapalakas sa sektor ng edukasyon, kabilang ang P928.52 bilyong pondo na inilaan sa Department of Education sa 2026 national budget.

Kasabay nito, binigyang-pansin din ni Dy ang mga benepisyong patuloy na tinatamasa ng mga g**o sa ilalim ng administrasyong Marcos Jr.

Gayunman, binigyang-diin ni Dy na higit pa sa mga insentibong pinansyal, ang tunay na pagkilala sa mga g**o ay nasa pagpapahalaga sa kanilang papel bilang tagapagturo, tagapayo, at tagapagtaguyod ng disiplina at kabutihang-asal ng kabataan.

Nanawagan si Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Anton Lagdameo ng agarang hustisya para sa pinaslang na lider ng Teduray Indigenous Peoples na si Ramon Lupos, kasabay ng kanyang pakikipag-ugnayan sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) upang matiyak ang mabilis na imbestigasyon at pagpapanagot sa mga responsable sa krimen.

Ayon kay Lagdameo, mahigpit na ipinag-uutos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na bigyang-diin ang kapayapaan, karapatang pantao, at proteksyon ng mga katutubo sa buong bansa, partikular sa mga lugar ng Bangsamoro.

"Our President envisions a society that prioritizes not only peace but also the human rights of every Filipino," saad ni Lagdameo.

Binigyang-diin ng SAP na patuloy na nakikipag-ugnayan ang Malacañang sa mga lokal na opisyal at law enforcement agencies upang matiyak na ang mga salarin ay agad na mapapanagot sa batas. Iginiit niyang hindi titigil ang pamahalaan hanggang makamit ang hustisya.

A strong earthquake struck off the coast of Davao Oriental this morning at 9:43 a.m. with a magnitude of 7.6. PHIVOLCS has issued a tsunami warning for several coastal provinces in Mindanao and the Visayas, including Davao Oriental, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Southern Leyte, and Eastern Samar.

We are now assessing the situation on the ground and ensuring that everyone is safe. I have directed the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the Office of Civil Defense, the Armed Forces, the Philippine Coast Guard, and all concerned agencies to immediately carry out evacuations in coastal areas, activate emergency communication lines, and coordinate closely with local governments.

Search, rescue, and relief operations are already being prepared and will be deployed as soon as it is safe to do so. The Department of Social Welfare and Development is pre-positioning food and non-food items, while the Department of Health is ready to provide emergency medical assistance.

To our kababayans in the affected regions, please stay alert and calm. Move to higher ground and stay away from the shore until authorities declare it safe. Follow all instructions from your local disaster councils and barangay officials. Your safety is our top priority.

We are working round the clock to ensure that help reaches everyone who needs it. Let us continue to look out for one another and pray for the safety of all our countrymen.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has reinstated the rule requiring local government units (LGUs) to formally accept completed national government projects before these can be officially declared finished.

According to the President, this move is meant to ensure the quality and integrity of infrastructure projects across the country, including roads, flood control systems, and other essential facilities.

The President also emphasized that the policy is also aimed at strengthening accountability among government agencies and contractors to guarantee that public works are properly implemented and beneficial to communities.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led ground relief operations in the wake of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that ravaged Cebu and Leyte.

The commander-in-chief worked with the AFP, PCG, BFP, and the MMDA to conduct search, rescue, and retrieval operations amongst affected communities. Moreover, the President directed the DOH to provide over ₱1 million in medicine and the DSWD to distribute thousands of family food packs and ready-to-eat boxes, as well as treatment trucks with clean drinking water.

In joint coordination toward recovery and development, the DOE, NGCP, and NEA restored power to more than 168,000 households deprived of electricity as DOLE supplied workers with ₱10.8 million worth of financial aid.

Ngayong araw, ating kinikilala at pinaparangalan ang dakilang tungkulin ng ating mga minamahal na g**o bilang tagapaghubog ng isipan, asal, at pangarap ng bawat mag-aaral. Ang kanilang walang sawang pagsisikap at malasakit ang nagsisilbing haligi ng kaunlaran at inspirasyon ng sambayanan.

Isang taos-pusong pagpupugay sa lahat ng g**o, na nagsisilbing bayani ng edukasyon!

Under the authorship of PFP lawmakers Cong. Bojie Dy III and Cong. Sandro Marcos, House Resolution No. 320 has been adopted unanimously, seeking to extend plenary sessions for the 2026 General Appropriations Bill (GAB) until October 13, 2025.

As House Speaker and Majority Floor Leader, Representatives' Dy and Marcos works toward a 20th Congress in service of every Filipino.
