It aims to enhance the student’s social responsibility and commitment to the development of their communities and helps to dev

elop their ability to uphold law and order as they assume an active participation in community activities, and in assisting the members of the community especially, in times of emergency. Implemented as Preparatory Military Training (PMT) as provided for in Title III, Article I, Sec 52 of the National Défense Act, and was further termed Citizen Army Training in 1973

It was again restructured and renamed “Citizenship Advancement Training” as per Department of Education Order No. 35, s.

As said in CAT Motto 2: “Capital N-E-V-E-R, never to quit!”

The CAT-1 Graduation, held last March 25, 2025, marked the end, and the beginning. Our cadets have indeed proven that no matter the hardships, we will prevail. After 7 months of training, our COCC cadets have shown that they are prepared for the challenges ahead, and accepted the roles of Acting Officers.

Congratulations to all cadets, and welcome to our new CAT Officers!
