Barangay Malamig is headed by Honorable Chairman Cynthia Magsisi Caluya and Council. Barangay Malamig is among the twenty-seven (27) barangays in the entire Mandaluyong city and a component of District II, Mandaluyong's thirteen (13) barangays. Barangay Malamig is bounded on the north by Barangay Highway Hills and Barangay Mauway; on the east by Barangay Buayang Bato; on the south by Barangay Barangka Ilaya, Barangka Itaas, and Barangka Ibaba; and on the west by Barangay Plainview.
