ADVISORY | Ilang oras bago ang selebrasyon ng bagong taon, pinaaalalahanan ng Barangay Highway Hills ang lahat ng residente na mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng paputok at iba pang mapanganib na pyrotechnics.

Iwasan ang disgrasya, sunog, at pinsala. Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang Bagong Taon nang ligtas at responsable.

Ang mahuhuling lalabag ay papatawan ng kaukulang parusa alinsunod sa umiiral na ordinansa.

Join us for the 2nd year of Palit Basura at Amang Park Plaza
📅 Tomorrow, December 30, 2025
⏰ 2:00 PM onwards (while stocks last)

How it works:
Bring your clean plastic bottles and exchange them for a grocery package!
📌 Requirements:
• Plastic bottles only (minimum weight: 2 kg)
• Bottles must be clean and free of contamination

⚠️ Reminder:
Dirty or contaminated bottles will not be accepted.

THIS IS FOR HIGHWAY HILLS RESIDENTS ONLY! PLEASE BRING A VALID ID ADDRESSED TO THE BARANGAY FOR VERIFICATION. MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD AND ABOVE.

Ang Palit Basura ay programa ng Barangay Highway Hills kung saan maaari mong ipagpalit ang malinis na plastic bottles sa grocery packages.

📌 Ano ang dadalhin:
• Plastic bottles lamang (minimum na timbang: 2 kg)

⚠️ Paalala:
Siguraduhing malinis ang mga plastic bottles na dadalhin.
Hindi tatanggapin ang marumi o kontaminadong plastik.

Another Award for Barangay Highway Hills!

Congratulations to our very own Barangay Chairperson, Kap. G. Abalos, together with the entire Barangay Highway Hills community, for receiving the “Natatanging Kapitan na Naglilingkod sa Tao at sa Bayan” award at the Gawad Pilipino Year-End Awards 2025, held last December 27, 2025.

The Gawad Pilipino Awards is an annual recognition that honors outstanding Filipino individuals and organizations who have made meaningful contributions to society, culture, and public service.

This recognition is a shared achievement of the barangay officials, personnel, and partners whose collective efforts continue to strengthen public service in Barangay Highway Hills.

📌 Office operations will RESUME on January 5, 2026 (Monday).

In line with Executive Order No. 72 (Series of 2021) and City Ordinance No. 673 (S-2017), the Barangay Highway Hills reminds all residents that the use of firecrackers and dangerous pyrotechnics is STRICTLY PROHIBITED this New Year’s celebration.

• Risk of severe injuries (burns, loss of limbs)
• Fire hazards and property damage

Residents are encouraged to celebrate using safer options such as:
• Torotot (horns)
• Sparklers (luces)
• Firework fountains
