This year, my birthday felt different heavier, deeper, more meaningful. Indi ko mabutang sa words, pero daw may ginatuklod gid ang akon tagipusuon. Instead of celebrating myself, I felt called to give back… even in the simplest way. So I chose to hold a small raffle not for attention, not for noise, but as a quiet offering to the people who have carried me with their trust, their faith, and their unwavering support.
As I watched the smiles, heard the laughter, and felt the warmth of our community, I realized something beautiful: happiness becomes deeper when it is shared. That moment seeing genuine joy in others was the most precious birthday gift I could ever receive. As a councilor, moments like these remind me why I serve. Indi tungod sang titulo, indi tungod sang posisyon. It’s about people. It’s about kindness. It’s about connection.
This birthday became more than a celebration of my life it became a celebration of the community I am blessed to belong to. Thank you for allowing me to give back, even in small ways. Your presence, your trust, your support these mean more to me than any party, any gift, any grand celebration ever could.
