EMPOWERING LOCAL ENTERPRISES: NEGOSYO CENTER MANAPLA’S 2024 AND 1ST SEMESTER 2025 ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
Department of Trade and Industry through Negosyo Center Manapla continues to make significant progress in supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and other stakeholders in the Municipality of Manapla through various programs, services, and business-related information dissemination.
The accomplishment report for the year 2024 and the first semester of 2025 illustrates the center's steadfast commitment to inclusive growth, digital empowerment, and enterprise development.
In 2024, Negosyo Center Manapla assisted a total of 652 clients, including MSMEs, priority sectors, and other individuals seeking entrepreneurial support.
The Negosyo Center delivered comprehensive support to a total of 280 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), providing targeted services such as business registration, advisory support, product development, access to financing, and market linkage facilitation. These efforts were focused on improving the competitiveness and long-term sustainability of local enterprises. Moreover, 150 MSMEs from priority sectors benefited from specialized interventions, including resource mobilization and value-chain support, in alignment with national development objectives. In response to the growing importance of digital commerce, the center also assisted 280 MSMEs engaged in e-commerce by offering training, support in setting up online stores, and guidance on digital marketing strategies. Additionally, 372 individuals were reached through information dissemination on DTI programs and services, particularly during Basic Entrepreneurship cm Business Planning Seminars and Financial Literacy sessions, further empowering aspiring entrepreneurs and the wider community
For the first semester of 2025, the center has already assisted 349 clients, indicating a sustained commitment to local enterprise support.
During the reporting period, the Negosyo Center extended its support to a wide range of clients, demonstrating its commitment to inclusive business development. A total of 192 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) received tailored business development services aimed at fostering growth and sustainability. Additionally, 100 MSMEs from priority sectors were assisted, aligning with national development goals and reinforcing the center's role in strategic initiatives. In the realm of digital transformation, 192 MSMEs were guided in enhancing their e-commerce capabilities, building upon the progress of previous years. Furthermore, 157 other clients were reached through various engagements, many of whom benefited from business-related seminars designed to inform, educate, and empower aspiring entrepreneurs.
Beyond numerical data, Negosyo Center Manapla engaged in impactful functions. One of its key services was the conduct of business advisory sessions, where one-on-one consultations allowed entrepreneurs to receive tailored strategies and immediate guidance suited to their unique needs. In addition, seminars and trainings—such as the Basic Entrepreneurship cm Business Planning Seminar, and Financial Literacy Seminar—played a significant role in nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets and enhancing business knowledge. The center also remained vigilant in protecting consumer welfare through regular BNPC price monitoring, ensuring fair pricing and upholding consumer rights within local markets.
These accomplishments underscore Negosyo Center Manapla’s unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable economic development. By strengthening MSMEs, empowering priority sectors, and expanding digital literacy, the center is helping to create a vibrant and resilient local economy.
