Sa atas ni Mayor Jeremy Agerico B. Rosario, MD, nagsama-sama ang iba’t ibang tanggapan ng Local Government Unit ng Manaoag upang magbigay ng seguridad at safety assistance sa isinagawang Misa de Gracia at Santacruzan 2026 ng Our Lady of the Rosary Parish kahapon, kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Dakilang Kapistahan ng Santisima Trinidad.

Pinangunahan ng Traffic Operations Team sa superbisyon ni G. Crisanto M. De Guzman ang pag-aayos ng daloy ng trapiko at pagsisiguro ng kaayusan sa mga lansangang dinaraanan ng prusisyon. Kaagapay nila ang Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office sa pamumuno ni G. Carlito P. Hernando na nakaalerto para sa mabilis na pagresponde sakaling magkaroon ng emergency at Tourism Operations Office, sa liderato ni G. Brendon D. Natividad.

Kasama rin sa deployment ang General Services Office sa ilalim ni G. Jose Rocarlo R. Rosario para sa kalinisan ng paligid matapos ang aktibidad, Rural Health Unit sa pamumuno ni Dra. Nicola Bethune-Malko para sa libreng first aid at medical assistance, at ang Municipal Information Office.

Ang pinagsamang pagtutulungan ng mga opisina ay nagresulta sa isang maayos, ligtas, at makabuluhang pagdiriwang para sa lahat ng deboto at bisitang dumalo.

LTO Theoretical Driving Course sa Manaoag: Libreng Pag-aaral para sa Ligtas na Kalsada

Mahigpit na sinusubaybayan ng mga residente ng Manaoag ang isinasagawang LTO Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) dahil malaking tulong ito para makakuha sila ng TDC Certificate — isang mahalagang requirement papunta sa Student Permit sa LTO.

Upang mas mapalapit ang serbisyo sa mga mamamayan, sinimulan ni Mr. Crisanto M. De Guzman, Traffic Operations Officer ng munisipyo, ang libreng 2-araw na aktibidad noong Hunyo 2025. Ito ay sa ilalim ng programang “Driven to Serve” at may buong suporta ng Local Chief Executive na si Dr. Jeremy Agerico B. Rosario. Nakipag-ugnayan din sila sa LTO Regional Office 1 sa pamumuno ni Director Glorioso Daniel Z. Martinez at sa Binalonan District Head na si Allan C. Glor para maisakatuparan ang programa.

Sa ika-4 na batch ngayong buwan para sa 2nd quarter ng taon, umabot sa 258 completers ang matagumpay na nakatapos. Sunod na target ay sa Agosto para sa ika-5 staging ng TDC.

Bakit mahalaga ang LTO TDC para sa mga future motorists ng Manaoag?
Ang TDC ay hindi lang basta requirement. Dito natutunan ng mga baguhang driver ang tamang batas-trapiko, road safety, defensive driving, at responsibilidad sa kalsada. Sa halip na basta makahawak ng manibela, mas nagiging disiplinado at may kaalaman ang bawat drayber. Ito ang unang hakbang para maiwasan ang aksidente at mapanatiling ligtas ang mga kalsada ng Manaoag.

Isa sa mga nakatapos sa Batch 4 ay si
Nelba S. Barrientos ng Barangay Babasit, na kasama ang anak niyang si Nicole noong huling staging. Ayon kay Nelba, taos-puso siyang nagpapasalamat sa Traffic Office at kay Mayor Rosario dahil inilapit ang programang ito sa mga Manaoagueño nang libre. Hindi na nila kailangang gumastos pa para sa TDC, at mas naging accessible na ang pangarap na magkaroon ng Student Permit.

Sa patuloy na pagsasagawa ng libreng TDC, pinatutunayan ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Manaoag na ang tunay na serbisyo ay nagsisimula sa pag-aalaga sa kaligtasan at kinabukasan ng bawat mamamayan.

Honest TODA Driver Returns Lost iPhone to Owner in Manaoag

The Local Government Unit of Manaoag commends Mr. Anthony N. Novencido, 36, resident of Barangay Nalsian and member of Downtown Manaoag TODA, for his honesty and integrity.

Mr. Novencido found an iPhone left by his passenger from Barangay Licsi and immediately returned it to the owner’s father, Mr. Marlon U. Vinuya, Assistant Municipal Treasurer and Business Permits and Licensing Officer of LGU Manaoag, with the assistance of Traffic Enforcer Allan Richard B. Dizon.

Ms. Migie Leian M. Vinuya, owner of the iPhone, and Sir Marlon expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Novencido for his honesty.
