Manabo Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of SFO3 Jameson S Mauricio, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, joined the candle lighting ceremony regarding HIV awareness conducted by RHU Manabo together with, PNP Manabo, PNP Abra 2nd PMFC and other agencies.

Manabo Fire Station led by SFO3 Jameson S Mauricio, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, participated on the Brgy. Symposium of Brgy. Lul-luno, Luba, Abra, together with Brgy. Officials, MDRRMO Luba, PNP Luba and other agencies.

The Acting Municipal Fire Marshal reiterated the fire safety practices, he also reminded the public to report immediately to the proper authorities in case of fire and other emergencies and discouraging the act of taking a video first instead of taking action.

🚨 TIPS ON OPERATING A FIRE EXTINGUISHER 🚨

Remember the acronym: T.P.A.S.S.
🔴 T – Twist the pin
🔴 P – Pull the pin.
🔴 A – Aim the nozzle or hose at the base of the fire.
🔴 S – Squeeze the lever to discharge the extinguishing agent.
🔴 S – Sweep from side to side at the base of the fire.

🔥 Know your extinguisher. Use it safely.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Manabo reminds everyone to stay alert and practice water safety during this summer vacation. Enjoy the season responsibly and avoid unnecessary risks that may lead to drowning incidents.

✅ Stay within safe and shallow areas
✅ Avoid swimming alone
✅ Wear life jackets when necessary
✅ Always supervise children near water
✅ Avoid swimming during bad weather
✅ Immediately leave rivers and flowing waters when heavy rain occurs due to possible strong or swift currents
