Capiz State University – Burias Campus proudly announces the approval of its new graduate programs by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This milestone affirms the University’s commitment to academic excellence and its continued dedication to advancing higher education in the field of agriculture.

Effective Academic Year 2026–2027, the Master of Science in Agriculture and Doctor of Philosophy in Agriculture programs are now officially recognized for implementation.

CAPSU Burias Library Receives Valuable Book Donation from DR. GERONIMO L. GREGORIO.

The Library has received a significant donation of academic books from renowned author and educator, Dr. Geronimo L. Gregorio, generously turned over by his beloved wife, Dr. Evelyn L. Gregorio.

This heartfelt contribution serves as a lasting tribute to Dr. Gregorio’s legacy and passion for education. It is a powerful gesture that will greatly support the academic and research pursuits of both faculty and students.

The following books were included in the donation:
Basic Soil Science and Soil Fertility Management – 19 copies
Socio-Educational Research – 5 copies
Crop Science and Technology – 10 copies
Research in the Biological Science, Principles, Methods and Statistics – 8 copies
Writing Quality Theses and Dissertations – 19 copies

All titles were authored by Dr. Gregorio himself. His extensive expertise and significant contributions in the fields of agricultural sciences and research have served as a vital guide and inspiration to countless students and professionals throughout the country.

Students and faculty are encouraged to make use of these valuable materials.

LOOK: The much-anticipated two-day University Book Fair of Capiz State University (CAPSU) is set to take place on November 13–14, 2025, at the Library of CAPSU Dayao Satellite College.

The event offers an opportunity for faculty members, librarians, and students to explore and select quality reference materials from various participating bookstores, book dealers, and publishers.
