𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐃𝐌𝐔 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐆𝐒𝐅-𝐆𝐄𝐅 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

To ensure efficient implementation and proper delivery of government support, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) conducted on-site project monitoring visits across all five (5) municipalities of the province yesterday, September 3, 2026.

The monitoring activity focused on the implementation of the FY Local Government Support Fund - Growth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF) Rice Distribution Program. DILG personnel evaluated program ex*****on, verified distribution records, and coordinated closely with local counterparts to ensure that the assistance directly and timely benefited the constituents.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin served as an Inspirational Speaker during the Capacity-Building Training on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) for the stakeholders of the Association of Civil Registrars of Agusan del Norte, Inc., held at Highland Resort on September 1, 2026.

The activity provided an avenue for participants to enhance their knowledge and strengthen their commitment to the effective delivery of civil registration and vital statistics services.

DILG Camiguin continues to support initiatives that promote capacity development, effective local governance, and responsive public service, contributing to the delivery of quality services to communities.

𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗦𝗚𝗬𝗚 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin conducted a consultative meeting with the DILG Provincial Office technical and field officers to discuss and provide technical inputs on the draft indicators of the Seal of Good Youth Governance of Camiguin (SGYG-Camiguin).

The consultation was conducted in response to the request of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Provincial Federation for technical assistance on the evaluation and documentary guidelines covering SK Councils for the August 2025 to August 2026 evaluation period.

During the meeting, DILG Camiguin reviewed the proposed indicators and provided comments and recommendations to help ensure that the assessment framework is clear, measurable, and appropriately aligned with the principles of transparent leadership, youth participation, innovation, accountability, and good governance.

The engagement underscores the DILG’s oversight and technical assistance role in strengthening youth governance mechanisms and supporting the SK Provincial Federation in developing an assessment framework that promotes excellence, accountability, and meaningful youth participation in local governance.

In support of strengthened local governance and in recognition of the importance of fostering collaboration with local government units, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin attended the State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) of the Municipality of Catarman, delivered by Hon. Kiterio Antonio U. Palarca II, Municipal Mayor on August 30, 2026, at Catarman, Camiguin

The SOMA provided an avenue to highlight the accomplishments, programs, projects, and initiatives of the local government, as well as its priorities and continuing efforts toward responsive, effective, and people-centered governance.

DILG Camiguin remains committed to supporting local government units in promoting good governance, strengthening institutional capacity, and delivering responsive public service for the people of Camiguin.
