The celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week was truly a meaningful and successful event as we came together to uphold this year’s theme, “Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development.”

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Benjamin P. Bautista, Jr., for his unwavering support and commitment to the PWD community. We also sincerely thank Hon. Benjamin “Enteng” T. Bautista III, Hon. Esma Bautista-Dumama, MPA, and Engr. Bryan T. Bautista for taking the time to celebrate with us and for their continued support of programs that promote inclusion and equal opportunities.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to our Guest Speaker, Dr. Glinard L. Quezada, FPSGS, MBA-HA, Medical Center Chief I, DOGH, and to Mr. Leonilo Solitana, Provincial PWD Focal Person/PDAO Designate, for sharing inspiring messages that encouraged us to continue advocating for the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities.

A special thank you to Ma’am Ferry Luz M. Bisenio, RSW, MSSW, and to the dedicated PWD and OSCA Personnel headed by Ma’am Ann Lynnette D. Saripa, PWD Focal Person, for all your hard work in making this celebration possible.

Most importantly, thank you to all our Persons with Disabilities who joined us. Your presence made this celebration more meaningful and reminds us that together, we can build a more inclusive community where everyone is valued and given equal opportunities.

Another productive meeting with our PWD Presidents as we prepare for the upcoming National Disability Rights Week. 💙♿

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Benjamin P. Bautista Jr. for his unwavering support to our PWD community. We also extend our sincere appreciation to SB Member Estefanie Bautista, Board Member Enteng Benjamin Bautista III, and Municipal Administrator Engr. Bryan Bautista for their continued encouragement and commitment to programs that uplift the lives of persons with disabilities.

Our heartfelt appreciation as well to our MSWDO, Ma’am Ferry Luz M. Bisenio, for always guiding and supporting us.

A big thank you also to our hardworking PWD and OSCA Staff, headed by Ma’am Ann Lynnette Saripa, for your dedication behind the scenes. Your efforts make every activity possible.

Na-endorse na ang usa ka kanhi nawala nga Person with Disability (PWD) nga taga-Sulop, Davao del Sur ngadto sa MSDW ug Police Station sa naingon na munisipyo aron masiguro ang iyang kaluwasan ug hustong pag-atiman.

Kini nga koordinasyon gipangulohan ni Ma’am Ferry Luz M. Bisenio sa MSWD Malita ug ni Ma’am Ann Lynnette D. Saripa - PWD Focal Person, uban sa PWD staff aron masiguro ang hapsay nga proseso sa pagturn-over ngadto sa hustong opisina.

Gipaluyohan usab kini ni Mayor Benjamin “ISMO” P. Bautista Jr. ug ni Hon. Estefanie Bautista-Dumama nga padayon naghatag og suporta sa mga programa alang sa proteksyon ug kaayohan sa atong mga kaigsoonan nga PWD.

Daghang salamat sa tanang opisina nga nalambigit. Padayon kita sa pagtinabangay alang sa mas inklusibo ug responsableng pag-alagad sa komunidad. 💙♿

Nakiisa ang Local Government Unit of Malita sa pagdiriwang ng ika 50th National Intellectual Disability Week sa pamamagitan ng paglalagay ng tarpaulin bilang pakikiisa sa selebrasyon, na may temang “Ginintuang Ani ng Pag-ibig Tungo sa Matagumpay at Tunay na Inklusyon.”

Ipinapakita ng tema na ang tunay na inklusyon ay hindi lamang isang layunin kundi bunga ng patuloy na malasakit, tamang suporta, at sama-samang pagkilos. Ang “ginintuang ani” ay sumisimbolo sa tagumpay na nakakamit kapag ang mga taong may intellectual disability ay nabibigyan ng maagang interbensyon, inklusibong edukasyon, at pantay na oportunidad sa komunidad.
