March 31, 2026- As part of its EOSY 2026 celebration, TFS of Tambelang Integrated School , together with its learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders, held a meaningful 11𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 5𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝘂𝗽 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 at the school to recognize the achievements and milestones of School Year 2025–2026.

The celebration was conducted to honor the hard work, perseverance, and success of the learners while reflecting this year’s theme, “𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿.”

Through a simple yet meaningful program, the school highlighted the value of competence, character, and collective support in shaping learners who are ready for the future.

DAVAO OCCIDENTAL — Malita West District capacitated SICs and SPACs through district training at Ernesto Lopez National High School to strengthen school communication, social media management, and client service across the district on March 27, 2026.

The activity highlighted the evolving role of SICs and SPACs as frontliners of information, going beyond posting updates to becoming key players in connecting schools with learners, parents, and stakeholders.

Participants were trained on crafting engaging write-ups, improving layout and visual design, and creating simple video content for school activities and highlights school programs and achievements.

The training was led by Jason L. Flordeliza, Program Owner, Resource Speaker, and District Information Coordinator, together with esteemed speakers from the Division Digital Media and Events, Ben Jan N. Basilisco and Arra G. Lutian.

Their expertise provided participants with practical knowledge and real-world strategies to improve school communication and social media presence.

With the increasing demand for timely and accurate updates, the initiative encourages schools to maintain active and responsive official pages.

This initiative highlights Malita West District’s continued effort to build connected, informed, and empowered school communities through effective communication.

DAVAO OCCIDENTAL — Malita West District celebrates a proud milestone as two of its young leaders secure positions in the Division Federation Elections.

Julia Rose S. Gonzalo of Teodorico Lopez Elementary School was elected as Division Federation SELG Auditor, while John Kyle Diaz of Ernesto Lopez National High School earned a seat as Division Federation SSLG Board Member.

Their victories highlight the strong leadership emerging from the district, showcasing dedication, competence, and a shared commitment to student service.

Amid a competitive pool of candidates from across Davao Occidental, both Gonzalo and Diaz demonstrated the ability to lead and represent the voices of learners in their respective levels.

As they take on their new roles, the two leaders are expected to contribute to stronger collaboration, accountability, and student-centered initiatives within the Division Federation.

This achievement marks a significant moment for Malita West District, reinforcing its role in developing future-ready student leaders.

The first day of the Division Workshop-Seminar on Katutubong Sayaw featured engaging learning sessions where teachers enthusiastically performed the folk dances Polka sa Nayon and Bulaklakan ng Halamanan as part of the workshop activities.

MAPEH teachers from Malita West District demonstrated active participation and collaboration, showing their strong commitment to preserving and promoting Filipino cultural heritage through dance.

Malita West educators gather for general meeting at Gaspar Danwata NHS

Educators and school leaders of Malita West District gathered today at Gaspar Danwata National High School for a general meeting.

Participants discussed key district matters including the graduation schedule, reading assessment, checking of forms, OPCRF completion, MOOE updates, and health updates.

The meeting strengthened coordination and reaffirmed the district’s commitment to efficient school management and quality education.

As we reach the end of another school year, I extend my warmest congratulations to everyone in our district. This school year has been another meaningful chapter filled with learning, perseverance, and shared accomplishments.

Looking back, we recognize that the journey was not always easy. There were moments that challenged us, tested our patience, and required us to adapt. Yet through it all, our schools remained strong because of the dedication of our teachers, the determination of our learners, and the unwavering support of our parents and stakeholders. Together, we continued moving forward with hope and commitment.

To our dear learners, I am proud of each one of you. Your hard work, resilience, and willingness to learn have brought you to this milestone. May the lessons you gained inside and outside the classroom guide you as you take the next steps in your journey.

To our teachers and school heads, thank you for your passion, patience, and tireless efforts in guiding our learners every day. Your dedication goes far beyond the classroom and continues to shape the future of our children.

To our parents, guardians, and partners in the community, thank you for walking with us throughout this school year. Your trust and support strengthen our mission of providing meaningful and quality education to every learner.

In a proactive move to enhance classroom effectiveness, educators from the Malita West District participated in a rigorous two-day training-workshop titled “Bridging Research and Practice: A Capacity-Building Workshop for Teachers on Evidence-Based Approaches to Address Pedagogical Challenges,” held from March 6 to 7, 2026.

The success of the event was made possible through the expertise of distinguished resource speakers who shared invaluable insights into modern pedagogy:

• Sir Lester Gene Arevalo
• Ma'am Gee Phanie Wata
• Sir Monell Estilloso

Also, the district extends its deepest gratitude to Sir Dick B. Navaja, EdD, SEPS in Planning and Research of the Division of Davao Occidental, for gracing the workshop as one of the speakers.

The program thrived under the full support and visionary leadership of Ma’am Fe Arlene D. Laganse, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of Malita West.

On March 13, 2026, participants will officially present the research proposals developed during the "Bridging Research and Practice" sessions.
