𝐁𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐝 𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭

(Legazpi City, October 22, 2025) Ipinapatupad na ngayon sa buong lalawigan ng Albay ang "Bawal Bastos sa Albay Ordinance," o ang Provincial Ordinance No. 46-2025.

Layunin ng hakbang na ito na i-localize ang national law na Republic Act 11313 o ang "Safe Spaces Act."

Ang ordinansa ay direktang nagbabawal sa lahat ng uri ng gender-based sexual harassment sa iba't ibang lugar.

Saklaw ng naturang ordinansa ang mahigpit na pagbabawal sa anumang akto ng pambabastos o sexual abuse sa mga pampublikong lugar, lansangan, mga online platform, workplace, mga paaralan at training institution, ospital, at iba pang lugar.

Ang pagpapatupad ng ordinansa ay bahagi ng patuloy na adbokasiya ng pamahalaan na itaguyod ang pagkakapantay-pantay ng kasarian (gender equality) at protektahan ang karapatan at dignidad ng bawat indibidwal.

Pangunahing layunin ng Provincial Ordinance No. 46-2025 na tiyakin na ang lahat ng lugar sa Albay, pisikal man o digital, ay ligtas.

Nakasaad rin sa ordinansa na ang sinumang mapapatunayang lumabag rito ay mahaharap sa kaukulang parusa at multa, alinsunod sa mga probisyon ng Safe Spaces Act at ng naturang Provincial Ordinance.

Exactly a month ago — August 30-31, 2025 — the Municipal Federation of Malilipot brought the energy to Viento De Mar Beach Resort for the 𝗟𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣! 💥🌊

Day 1 was 🔥 with a powerful talk on Youth SDG Champions by Hon. Jezreel Alemania, followed by Campfire Night, team presentations, the dazzling Mr. & Ms. LNK 2025, and late-night socials & reflections! ✨🏕️💃

Day 2? We kicked it off with a Zumba sesh to get those vibes going 💪🕺 and jumped into the action-packed Amazing Race before wrapping up with the much-awaited Awarding Ceremony! 🏁🎉

From laughter to learning, challenges to cheers — it was a weekend we’ll never forget! 💙

𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐝

(Legazpi City, September 15, 2025) The municipality of Malilipot, Albay has been officially declared under Stable Internal Peace and Security status in a bid to boost tourism and economic development.

The designation ensures safety, encourages investment, supports justice, and promotes improved living conditions and social progress.

Officials said the peace status is expected to drive sustainable development and enhance the tourism sector without replacing existing tourism initiatives.

The move is also seen to inspire entrepreneurship and long-term economic opportunities in the local community.

Brigadier General William Peñafiel Jr., Commander of the 902nd Infantry Brigade, said the absence of conflict is crucial to attracting investment, livelihood opportunities, and tourism.

He stressed that a peaceful environment encourages economic activity and opens doors for community growth.

Declaring areas under Stable Internal Peace and Security is a national strategy that signals safety and stability to tourists and investors.
