LOOK: The Local Government Unit of Malibcong, headed by Hon. Romando B. Bacuyag, proudly stands in continued partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development through the years—beginning with the implementation of KALAHI-CIDSS up to the present rollout of new initiatives.

Today, we reaffirm this commitment as we attend the Panahon ng Pagkilos: Philippine Community Resilience Project Regional Launching and Stakeholders’ Forum held at Hotel Elizabeth.

The municipality was represented by SBM Eric Paganao, MPDC Marilyn Toca, Municipal Accountant Marie Grace Bugawit, Engr. Florante Labaoan, MDRRMO Mary Joy Barbieto, SWA I Margierin Casay, and Mark Tuanquin.

This initiative aims to empower our communities and strengthen our local government units, which serve as the first line of defense against calamities, as emphasized by Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. during his statement in the commemoration of the 11th anniversary of Super Typhoon Yolanda. 🌿🤝

From the very first KALAHI project to this new chapter of building resilient communities, Malibcong remains dedicated to empowering our people and strengthening local governance.
