DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS

The Department of Education – Schools Division of Bukidnon continues the successful implementation of the Division Training of Grade 6 Teachers on the Revised K to 10 Curriculum Implementation held from May 25-28, 2026.

Day 2 focused on enriching teachers’ competencies through engaging discussions, collaborative workshops, and interactive learning experiences aligned with the goals of the revised curriculum. Participants actively exchanged insights, best practices, and strategies to further enhance classroom instruction and learner outcomes.

The enthusiasm and commitment shown by our educators reflect the division’s unwavering dedication to delivering relevant, responsive, and quality education for every Bukidnon learner.

As the training progresses, may this initiative continue to inspire innovation, strengthen professional growth, and empower teachers as catalysts of transformative education.

What: Division Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Activity for School Year 2026–2027

When: June 1, 2026 | Brigada Eskwela proper: June 1–5, 2026

Where: Miarayon Central Elementary School, Talakag III District, Talakag, Bukidnon

Why: To officially launch Brigada Eskwela 2026 and promote the spirit of bayanihan in preparing schools to be clean, safe, resilient, and learner-friendly for the opening of classes.

Who: EXECOM Members, Social Mobilization and Networking Personnel, DRRM Personnel, PSDS, School Heads of Talakag III District, stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners.

How: Through collective efforts, volunteerism, clean-up drives, school repairs, beautification activities, literacy support, and strengthened community partnerships.

The Department of Education – Schools Division of Bukidnon successfully commenced the Division Training of Grade 6 Teachers on the Revised K to 10 Curriculum Implementation from May 25-28, 2026.

The activity gathered dedicated educators from across the division to deepen their understanding of the revised curriculum, strengthen pedagogical approaches, and ensure effective delivery of quality education for our learners.

Day 1 featured insightful discussions, collaborative learning sessions, and meaningful engagement among participants, emphasizing the division’s commitment to educational excellence and continuous professional development.

PRIME HRM MATURITY LEVEL ASSESSMENT | DOCUMENTARY REVIEW

The Schools Division of Bukidnon took a decisive step toward HR excellence as it conducted a comprehensive review of documentary requirements and processes on May 19, 2026, in preparation for the upcoming PRIME HRM Maturity Level Assessment.

The activity was spearheaded by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Victoria V. Gazo, who provided strategic direction and ensured the thoroughness of the review. Lending their guidance and expertise were Assistant Schools Division Superintendents Dr. Roberto D. Napere, Jr. and Dr. Rosemarie T. Macesar, along with Chief Elbert R. Francisco and Chief Nancy B. Panistante. The Technical Working Group (TWG) played a vital role in the activity, bringing collective competence and dedication to the table.

This collaborative undertaking reflects the Division's unwavering commitment to continuous improvement, strict compliance with HR standards, and the advancement of a culture of excellence, professionalism, and quality public service.

OPLAN KALUSUGAN SA DepEd (OKD) 2026 | HEALTHY LEARNING INSTITUTION (HLI) ORIENTATION AND WORKSHOP

The Schools Division of Bukidnon takes a significant step toward nurturing healthier learning environments as 30 school heads representing elementary and secondary schools across 20 municipalities of the province gather for the Division-Level Orientation and Workshop for the 2026 Oplan Kalusugan sa DepEd (OKD) – Healthy Learning Institution (HLI) Program. The week-long activity is being held from May 18–24, 2026 at Loiza's Pavilion, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

This activity equips school heads with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to develop and sustain Healthy Learning Institutions, schools that promote the holistic well-being of every learner, teacher, and personnel.

HAPPENING NOW | The β€œMas Asenso Normin Stars” of Region X are all-set and ready to shine as they gear up for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2026 on May 24–31.

Delegates from Northern Mindanao are currently gathered at Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School for the In-House Pre-Departure Orientation Encampment ahead of their departure this evening for Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.

The Schools Division Office of Gingoog City and the Local Government Unit of Gingoog City, known as the β€œCity of Good Luck,” proudly hosted the Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) throughout the encampment.

During today’s β€œMas Asenso Normin Stars” Sendoff Ceremony, Regional Director Dr. Ruth Fuentes extended her full support and words of encouragement to the athletes, coaches, and delegation members as they prepare to represent Region X on the national stage.

Meanwhile, through the Education Support Services Division – Learner Rights and Protection Office (ESSD-LRPO), a Learner Rights and Protection Desk was established to ensure strict implementation of DepEd’s Child Protection Policy, safeguarding all participating learners through proper supervision, safe spaces, and prompt response mechanisms anchored on a zero-tolerance policy against abuse, exploitation, violence, and discrimination.
