September 7, 2026 | CHECKPOINT OPERATIONS

Malay MPS PCP5 personnel, led by PCPT FERNYL GERSAVA, PCP4 Commander, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL ORLANDO A CARAG JR., COP, conducted checkpoint operations at Brgy. Caticlan, Malay, Aklan. The activity was part of the station’s continuing efforts to ensure public safety and security, maintain peace and order, and deter criminal activities through the strict monitoring and inspection of vehicles and individuals passing through designated checkpoints.

Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan - The Malay Municipal Police Station conducted its flag-raising ceremony led by PMAJ GARNET D VILLARUEL, DCOP under the direct supervision of PLTCOL ORLANDO A CARAG JR, COP at the Malay MPS Headquarters on September 7, 2026.

During the activity, PMAJ VILLARUEL provided guidance to all personnel and reminded them to faithfully perform their duties and responsibilities as police officers with professionalism, discipline, dedication, integrity, and commitment to public service. The activity served as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of proper conduct, accountability, and adherence to the highest standards of police service in maintaining peace and order and ensuring effective and responsive service to the community.

Crime knows no borders—and neither should police cooperation. The Philippine National Police joins the 2026 International Day of Police Cooperation in support of the motto “Together Against Crime,” highlighting the importance of working closely with police organizations around the world to prevent and investigate transnational crime, protect vulnerable persons, locate missing individuals, apprehend fugitives, and recover criminal proceeds.

On September 7, 2026, Malay MPS personnel, under the supervision of PLTCOL ORLANDO A CARAG JR., Chief of Police, conducted Oplan Bandillo throughout the Municipality of Malay, Aklan.
The activity aimed to strengthen the station’s anti-criminality campaign, deter the commission of crimes, promote public safety.

Malay MPS personnel, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL ORLANDO A CARAG, JR., COP, conducted mobile patrol operations throughout the Municipality of Malay, Aklan, as part of the station’s continuing efforts to ensure public safety and security, maintain peace and order, and deter criminal activities through sustained police visibility and regular patrols in strategic areas.

September 7, 2026 | Foot Patrol Operations

Personnel of the Malay Municipal Police Station, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL ORLANDO A CARAG JR., COP, conducted intensified visibility patrols along the Front Beach area of Boracay Island and at the ports on both the mainland and Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, to strengthen police presence, deter criminal activities, and enhance the safety and security of residents and local and foreign tourists. During the patrol, personnel reminded the public to remain vigilant, secure their personal belongings, strictly follow safety advisories issued by authorities, and immediately report any suspicious activities to the police.
