LGU Malay PESO Applications for the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) is now OPEN, exclusively for college students!

📅 Submission of SPES Babies Applications: April 6 – 8, 2026
📅 Submission of New SPES Applicants: April 9, 2026
🕗 Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Venue: PESO Main – 2nd Floor LGU Main Bldg., Poblacion, Malay, Aklan

⚠️ Please take not that we only have limited SPES slots!
All applicants will undergo a qualifying exam and interview.

Disclaimer: THIS QUALIFYING EXAM IS STILL PART OF THE INITIAL SCREENING PROCESS. TAKING THE EXAMS DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN A CONFIRMED SLOT.

✔️ 18–30 years old
✔️ With at least 80% average grade and has no failed grade
✔️ From a low-income household
✔️ Has not availed of any government scholarship grant

PROOF OF AGE: Birth Certificate or Baptismal Certificate

PROOF OF GRADE: Certified true copy of Report Card (Form 138) showing passing grade, or Certification from the School Registrar confirming the student passed the previous semester/school year

PROOF OF INCOME: Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents/guardian (if employed) or Barangay Certificate of Indigency (if unemployed or with no fixed income)

Accomplished Application Form with 1 passport-size ID picture

Last December 30, 2025, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Nabaoy successfully conducted the Culture, Sports, and Arts Program with the awarding of winners for the Youth Parol Making Contest, Christmas Carol Solo Contest, Christmas Dance Contest, and Volleyball Exhibition. This meaningful activity highlighted the talents, creativity, and sportsmanship of the youth while promoting unity, cultural appreciation, and active participation in the community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our respected judges, our dedicated event host, and all the enthusiastic participants who contributed to the success of this program. Your support and involvement made this celebration truly memorable and inspiring for the youth of Nabaoy.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Nabaoy successfully conducted the Katipunan ng Kabataan General Assembly, bringing together the Nabaoynon youth for information dissemination, engagement, and community involvement.

The Sangguniang Kabataan extends its sincere appreciation to the Nabaoy Barangay Council, particularly Hon. Arnil Claud Flores , for delivering an encouraging message to the youth on behalf of the Barangay Council. Your continued support plays a vital role in strengthening youth participation and leadership in the community.

💚 Prioritizing Health, Empowering the Youth 💚

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Nabaoy successfully conducted a Health and Wellness Program featuring an HIV & AIDS Symposium, Teenage Pregnancy Symposium, and the Distribution of Hygiene Kits.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Peer Educators of the Malay Chapter for sharing their time, expertise, and inspiring messages with our youth. Also, to sir Arbie for helping us finding a resource speaker.

Thank you for empowering young minds through your dedication and for encouraging responsible and informed decision-making.
