Batay sa pinakahuling pagsusuri sa lagay ng panahon, patuloy ang pag-iral ng southwesterly winds na nakaaapekto sa kanlurang bahagi ng bansa. Kasabay nito, inaasahan ang paminsan-minsan hanggang madalas na pag-ulan at pagkidlat-pagkulog lalo na sa western sections ng Luzon at Visayas.

Habang mas nagiging dominante ang Habagat, posible ring maranasan ang mga pagbugso ng malalakas na ulan na maaaring magdulot ng pagbaha at rain-induced landslides sa ilang lugar. Maaari ring magkaroon ng monsoon breaks o pansamantalang paghina ng mga pag-ulan na maaaring tumagal ng ilang araw.

Pinapayuhan ang publiko at mga kinauukulang ahensya na manatiling alerto at magsagawa ng kaukulang pag-iingat laban sa posibleng epekto ng Habagat.
