Our very own school head of Canan National High School, Sir John S. Bernardino together with his loving wife, Ma'am Juliet Bernardino, is in Candon City, Ilocos Sur to give support and boost the confidence of our two R1AA athletes, John Paul Hiteroza and Charls Kenneth Lucero.

Together with Sir John are the equally esteemed, able and supportive school heads of Malasiqui District II-B: Ma'am Melissa Pinlac (Nancapian NHS), Ma'am Ruby Sebastian (Catalino D. Cerezo NHS), Sir Larry Abrera (Palapar NHS), Sir Salvador Tamayo (Talospatang NHS) and Sir Maximo Estabillo (Talospatang NHS)

Bukas (April 4,2026), magsisimula ng sumabak sa Region I Athletic Association (R1AA) sa Candon City, Ilocos Sur ang ating dalawang atletang arnisador ng Canan NHS na sina John Paul Hiteroza ng Brgy. Bacundao West at Charls Kenneth Lucero ng Brgy. Canan Sur,Malasiqui,Pangasinan.

Ipanalangin at suportahan natin sila upang makamit nila ang inaasam nating gintong medalya at karangalan ng ating minamahal na bayan ng Malasiqui.

Gawin ninyo ang lahat ng inyong makakaya at sa tulong ng Poong Maykapal, magtatagumpay kayo sa inyong mga pangarap at mithiin sa buhay.

𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆

“The world needs leaders na hindi lang magaling kundi may lakas ng loob na sumubok. Kahit hindi sigurado, kahit may self doubt. Minsan, ang pagitan ng ‘hindi ko kaya’ at ‘kaya ko pala’ ay isang desisyon lang, susubukan ko.” These were the words that inspired graduates, completers, and awardees during the 56th Commencement Exercises of Canan NHS.

The beauty queen, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼-𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼, former Ms. Malasiqui 2015 and a successful Risk and Compliance Consultant at Kiwi Adviser Network in New Zealand, delivered the message, reminding everyone that courage can turn fear into achievement.

She encouraged students to combine bravery with faith, “’Wag matakot sumubok, hingin ang patnubay ng Poong Maykapal.” She acknowledged that self-doubt is natural but should never stop anyone from moving forward. Every challenge is a chance to grow, and taking that first step, even when unsure, can open doors to new discoveries and meaningful success. Her message resonated not just with the learners, but with the entire Canan NHS community, inspiring everyone to face challenges with confidence and determination.

Beyond sharing her inspiring words, she gave back to her alma mater with a ₱10,000 donation to support its programs. Her message reminded everyone that true leadership is built on courage, guided by faith, and shown through the willingness to take that first step, even when the way ahead is uncertain.

Canan NHS expresses its heartfelt gratitude for her generosity and continued support.
