SUSPENSION OF CLASSES
August 6, 2026 (Thursday)

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 38, and in view of the continuous heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Storm Maymay, classes in all levels, both Public and Private Schools, in the Municipality of Malasiqui, Pangasinan, are hereby suspended on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

In accordance with existing Department of Education (DepEd) issuances, schools are advised to implement the appropriate learning delivery modality, such as modular or online classes, whenever applicable.

Meanwhile, work in all government offices shall resume as scheduled, unless otherwise directed by the appropriate authorities.

The public is advised to remain vigilant, monitor official weather updates, and prioritize their safety at all times.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 35, and due to the heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the presence of a Low Pressure Area (LPA), face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private schools, in the Municipality of Malasiqui are hereby suspended tomorrow, August 5, 2026 (Wednesday).

Schools may, at their discretion, shift to modular or other alternative learning modalities to ensure the continuity of education while prioritizing the safety of learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Meanwhile, work in all government offices shall resume as scheduled.

The Local Government Unit of Malasiqui encourages everyone to remain vigilant, monitor official weather advisories, and take the necessary precautions to ensure everyone's safety.
