It is with great honor and gratitude to present to you the State of the School Address (SOSA) as I celebrate my first year anniversary this month.
Our accomplishments and progress are the fruit of our collective efforts - learners, teachers, parents, community stakeholders, and partners - all working hand in hand toward our common goal of providing quality and child- friendly education.
Over the past year, Pacuan Elementary School has achieved remarkable developments:
1. School Facilities and equipment
- We have successfully purchased printing equipment, a sound system and new monoblock chairs, making our operations and activities more efficient and responsive to our needs.
- The administrative office underwent a much- needed repairs, creating a more organized and functional workplace for our personnel and visitors.
- Installation of door and window grills in the administrative office and Grade four classrooms to improve school security.
- Rehabilitation of our handwashing facity, supporting our commitment to health, sanitation, and safety among learners.
- Repair of the water system, ensuring a consistent and reliable source to clean water for sanitation and daily operations
- The perimeter fence was repaired, enhancing the school's security and overall appearance.
- We also repainted the gate and the classrooms, giving our learning spaces a cleaner, brighter, and more inviting look.
- Five (5) units of CCTV cameras were repaired, strengthening our school's safety and monitoring system.
- In addition, significant repairs on the roofing, ceiling, doors, and electrical wiring and switches of old classrooms are ongoing, ensuring safety and comfort for both learners and teachers.
2. Learners, Teachers and School Achievements
- Our learners brought pride and honor to the school by winning First Place in Fruit snd Vegetables Carving and First Place in DaMath at the District Level ( Division Qualifiers)
- Pacuan Elementary School was recognized as First Place Winner in Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing School-Small School Category, a true reflection of teamwork, dedication and community spirit.
- In academic competitions, our learners excelled in Araling Panlipunan and Filipino contests, earning awards that highlight their academic excellence.
- One of our learners was elected as District President of YES-O and P.I.O. at the Division Level, proving her outstanding leadership and environmental advocacy.
- Our teachers demonstrated their professional growth by attending various training and seminars at the school, district, division and regional levels.
- We also take pride in having a teacher who is a Certified Mental Health Trainer, strengthening our school capacity to support learners' well-being and promote a positive, safe and caring learning environment.
These accomplishments symbolize our shared passion, resilience, and unity as one Pacuan Elementary School family. Together, we have proven that when the school and the community work as one, success naturally follows.
As we move forward, let us continue our journey of collaboration and excellence. Let us strengthen our commitment to deliver quality education and create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment for every learner.
To all our learners, teachers, parents and stakeholders - thank you for your unwavering support, dedication and love for Pacuan Elementary School.
Together, we will continue to make our school a place where every child learns, grows and succeeds.
