Yesterdayโs celebration reminded me that a fiesta is more than a gathering or a traditionโit is a homecoming of faith, family, friendship, and gratitude. As I received the honor of serving as Hermano Mayor, I felt deeply humbled and grateful for the trust given to me and for the many people who helped make this celebration possible.
Seeing family, friends, fellow Barugueรฑos, and loved ones come together reminded me that no matter where life takes us, our roots always remain part of who we are. We may leave home to pursue dreams, build careers, and create new paths, but we carry with us the values, lessons, and faith we first learned from the people and places that raised us.
Barugo continues to live in our heartsโin our stories, our memories, our way of caring for one another, and in the faith that guides us through every season of life. To everyone who prayed, joined, supported, and celebrated with us, thank you for making the celebration meaningful beyond words. Seรฑor San Jose, continue to guide our families, strengthen our faith, and watch over us wherever God leads us.
