As of 8:00 PM today, 10 April 2026, the Tropical Storm with the international name "SINLAKU" (formerly LPA 04a) has intensified into a Severe Tropical Storm and is being monitored within the monitoring domain (TCID) of PAGASA.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Nilagdaan na nina BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim at BTA Parliament Speaker Atty. Pangalian Balindong noong Dec. 11, ang bill upang maging ganap ng maisabatas bilang Bangsamoro Autonomy Act (BAA) No. 65 o ang General Appropriations Act of the Bangsamoro (GAAB) para sa Fiscal Year (FY) 2025.

"Maaaring ito na ang huling panukalang batas na ipapasa natin bilang isang transition government," Sabi pa ni Ebrahim sa naganap na signing ceremony.

“Gamitin natin ang pagkakataong ito upang mag-iwan ng pangmatagalang imprint ng transparency, inclusivity, at responsive, moral na pamamahala para sa ikabubuti ng ating Bangsamoro Government at ng publikong ating pinaglilingkuran,” dagdag pa ni Ebrahim.

Inaprubahan ng BTA Parliament ang badyet noong Martes na may 55 affirmative votes at walang negative at abstentions. Mahigit isang buwan na sumailalim ang nasabing bill sa deliberasyon sa Committee on Finance, Budget, Management upang masiguro at masuri ang paglalaanan nito.

Pagbibigay-prayoridad sa mga mahahalagang sektor.

Ang badyet sa taong 2025 ay bibigyang prayoridad ang mga pangunahing sektor na sumusuporta sa pag-unlad ng Bangsamoro region.

May pinakamalaking badyet ang edukasyon na may 33.2% na kabuuang badyet sa 2025. Sinundan ng Minisitry of Public Works na may 11.8%, kasunod ang Ministry of Health na 7.7%, 5.1% para sa BTA.

4.02% naman para sa Office of the Chief Minister at may 4% naman ang Ministry of Social Services and Development.

Pagtitiyak ng pagiging inklusibo para sa Sulu.

Sa kabila ng inilabas na desisyon ng Supreme Court na ihiwalay ang Sulu sa Bangsamoro region, Ang badyet sa 2025 ay may mga nakapaloob pa rin na probisyon para isama ito.

Ang desisyon ay nagpapatunay na ang pangako ng BARMM ay patuloy na magbibigay ng serbisyo sa Sulu, anuman ang hangganang pampulitika. (Prince Nor-Anzahri Matalam, Myrna Tepadan/BIO)
