PINAMALOY – Don Carlos, Bukidnon — On May, 27, 2026, a meaningful step toward building stronger Inter-agency cooperation and sustainable community development, LTC JOSE LAUREL M SIBULLAS, Acting Commanding Officer of the 512th Engineer Construction (KAAGAPAY) Battalion, conducted a Courtesy Call and Coordination Meeting with District Engineer Virginia G. Batocail of the Department of Public Works and Highways Bukidnon 2nd District Engineering Office.

The meeting served as a strategic venue for strengthening collaboration between the 512th Engineer Construction Battalion and the DPWH Bukidnon 2nd DEO in addressing infrastructure and environmental concerns in Bukidnon, particularly the recurring flooding near Central Mindanao University in Brgy. Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon. Both parties discussed possible engineering solutions, flood mitigation initiatives, and the importance of coordinated planning and technical collaboration to support future flood control and infrastructure development projects for the benefit of affected communities.

The meeting also underscored the shared commitment of the Philippine Army and DPWH in promoting resilient communities through responsive governance, sustainable engineering solutions, and strengthened stakeholder partnerships. The envisioned cooperation is expected to pave the way for future joint undertakings that will contribute to environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, and socio-economic progress in the province.

This stands as a strong affirmation of the KAAGAPAY Battalion to remain steadfast in its commitment to public service and nation-building — truly embodying its guiding principle: “Laging handa sa lahat, mapagkakatiwalaan ng sambayanang Pilipino, kami ang inyong KAAGAPAY troopers — may karanasan at subok na.”

𝐶𝐴𝑀𝑃 𝐴𝑅𝑀𝐴𝑁𝐷𝑂 𝑀 𝑄𝑈𝐼𝐵𝑂𝐷 – 𝐵𝑟𝑔𝑦 𝐵𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑛, 𝑀𝑎𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑙𝑎, 𝐶𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑎𝑡𝑜. The 512th Engineer Construction (KAAGAPAY) Battalion successfully underwent the Brigade Annual General Inspection (BAGI) conducted by the 52nd Engineer (KAAYADAN) Brigade, Philippine Army, highlighting the battalion’s commitment to operational readiness, administrative efficiency, and organizational excellence.

The inspection comprehensively assessed the battalion’s capabilities in administration, security preparedness, records management, logistics, personnel welfare, and overall unit functionality. Throughout the evaluation, the battalion demonstrated discipline, professionalism, and steadfast compliance with military standards, earning recognition for its continuous efforts to enhance its operational effectiveness despite existing challenges as a developing unit.

The activity served not only as an assessment mechanism but also as a testament to the battalion’s determination to strengthen its internal systems and sustain mission readiness in support of peace, development, and public service in North and South-Central Mindanao.
