UPDATE | Last Monday, July 31, 2023, marked the first-ever release of Financial Assistance in the different Pagbulig Centers. One of the Pagbulig Centers that released the said assistance was Pagbulig Center - Makato at Aklan Sport and Cultural Complex, Calangcang, Makato, Aklan.

The aim of the Pagbulig Centers is to remotely and accessibly extend assistance to the people of different municipalities directly from our provincial government. The available assistance includes the following:

1. Burial Assistance;
2. Medical Assistance;
3. Educational Assistance;
4. Centenarian Assistance;
5. Emergency Shelter Assistance;
6. Provision of Assistive Device; and
7. Other Assistance.

LOOK | Last July 28, 2023, the payout for Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) of DOLE, a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed workers, and seasonal workers, was released to the 623 beneficiaries from the municipalities of Makato, Malinao, and Numancia at Aklan Sports and Cultural Complex, Calangcang, Makato, Aklan.

The said payout was made through the request and effort of Governor Jose Enrique "Joen" M. Miraflores.

LOOK | Last July 5, 2023, Governor Jose Enrique "Joen" M. Miraflores together with the Municipal and Barangay officials of Makato attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially launch the Grand Opening of Pagbulig Center - Makato at Aklan Sports and Cultural Complex, Calangcang, Makato, Aklan.

Makaton-ons can now visit our office from Monday to Friday to seek assistance for the following:

1. Burial Assistance;
2. Medical Assistance;
3. Educational Assistance;
4. Centenarian Assistance;
5. Emergency Shelter Assistance;
6. Provision of Assistive Device; and
7. Other Assistance.
