On September 2, 2026, at about 11:00 AM, PCOL PEDRO A ALAGANO, JR., Chief of Police, Makati City Police Station, joined a coordination meeting held at the Samphiro Conference Room, 21st Floor, Makati City Hall Old Building, Makati City.

The meeting was attended by Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Hon. Jonvic Remulla, Makati City Mayor Hon. Nancy Binay, the DILG City Director, City Councilors, Barangay Chairpersons of San Lorenzo and Bel-Air, and security managers from various sectors.

During the meeting, PCOL ALAGANO, JR. provided an update on the peace and order and crime situation in Makati City, highlighting the current security conditions, crime prevention efforts, police visibility initiatives, and measures being implemented by the Makati CPS to maintain public safety and address emerging security concerns.

The gathering also served as an avenue for key government officials, law enforcement personnel, barangay leaders, and private security stakeholders to strengthen coordination, share relevant security concerns, and discuss collaborative measures to further enhance the safety and security of the Makati community.

PCOL ALAGANO, JR. emphasized the importance of sustained inter-agency cooperation and active coordination among stakeholders in maintaining peace and order, preventing crime, and ensuring a prompt and effective police response to incidents and security concerns.

The Makati City Police Station remains committed to working closely with the City Government of Makati, barangay officials, and security partners in maintaining a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for residents, workers, and visitors.

GOOD DEEDS
The Makati City Police Station, under the leadership of PCOL PEDRO A. ALAGANO, JR., Chief of Police, through the TMR, under the supervision of PMAJ RONIE RIC ALIPIO, Chief, TMRU, demonstrated the PNPโ€™s commitment to responsive and compassionate public service through a simple yet meaningful act of kindness.

On September 2, 2026, at about 4:09 PM, TMRU personnel, together with an ADV Patroller, assisted an Angkas motorcycle rider who needed help lifting and loading his motorcycle onto a Lalamove vehicle along EDSA corner McKinley Road, Brgy. Forbes Park, Makati City. Upon seeing the rider in need of assistance, the police personnel immediately extended a helping hand and worked together to safely lift and load the motorcycle onto the vehicle.

The simple act of assistance reflects the PNPโ€™s commitment to serving not only as law enforcers but also as reliable and compassionate public servants who are always ready to lend a helping hand.

This PNP Good Deed highlights the Makati CPSโ€™ continuing commitment to strengthening police visibility, promoting road safety, assisting motorists and commuters, and fostering public trust through genuine service.

Starting the month with sustained efforts to promote safer learning environments, the Makati City Police Station, under the leadership of PCOL PEDRO A ALAGANO, JR., Chief of Police, through the Community Affairs Section headed by PCPT PAMELA C LEAL, Chief, CAS, conducted a series of school safety engagements on September 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

CAS personnel visited iACADEMY, Makati High School, La Paz Elementary School, F. Benitez III Elementary School, and St. Mary of the Woods School for meetings, briefings, and Active Shooter Response Orientations. The engagements provided an opportunity to discuss appropriate measures and response procedures in addressing potential threats and critical incidents within school premises.

The Active Shooter Response Orientations focused on threat recognition, immediate protective actions, emergency response procedures, and proper coordination with responding authorities. These discussions aimed to help school personnel better understand their roles and the appropriate actions to take during emergencies.

Through these engagements, the Makati Police continues to strengthen communication and coordination with school administrators and personnel, while supporting efforts to enhance safety and preparedness within the education sector.

With the month just beginning, Makati CPS remains committed to maintaining an active presence in schools and working closely with the education sector toward safer and more secure learning environments for students, teachers, and school personnel.
