The DTI-Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS) is now accepting comments on the draft Department Administrative Order (DAO) on the Technical Regulation Concerning the Mandatory Product Certification of Plastic Pipes (as of 01 September 2026).

The draft DAO covers the mandatory product certification of plastic pipes, with applicable requirements based on relevant Philippine National Standards (PNS). It also outlines the procedures for obtaining a Philippine Standard (PS) Certification Mark License and Import Commodity Clearance (ICC), including the applicable transitory provisions.
