(EBM) is a Filipino non-profit, non-stock charitable foundation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commision (SEC). (EBM) wasn’t born in an office, a boardroom or a business lunch. It was born at the family breakfast table of the Vera family one morning in June. On the way home from Church that morning, the Vera children had seen some very young street children, some as young as 3 years o

ld, and talked about what kind of future they would face, one very different to their own. They decided to find some way of changing children’s lives and securing a better future for them. Bobet & Mrs. Ruthy Vera put the dream into action by partnering with AGAPP and funding the first two classrooms in Aniban Central School in Bacoor, Cavite. With the full support of The British School Manila, the Empowering Brilliant Minds Youth Council was born. To this day, EBM continues to have strong partnerships with AGAPP and The British School Manila in creating various projects to reach the poorest schools and students in the country.

EBM Foundation Receives Grant from MDRT Foundation

The MDRT Foundation has awarded a USD 5,000 grant to Empowering Brilliant Minds Foundation, Inc.

Grant was presented by Ms. Maria Rosalinda Panuncialman(left) and Mr. Willison Yu(right), MDRT Philippines Country Chair, to EBM's Executive Director, Ms. Rosalinda Basas(middle) last May 23, 2023.

The Million Dollar Round Table Foundation gives to charitable organizations worldwide, demonstrating the generosity, service, and impact of MDRT members. This year, the MDRT Foundation will award over $1.6 million in MDRT member-endorsed grants to over 300 charitable organizations worldwide.

The MDRT Foundation was created in 1959 to provide MDRT members with a means to give back to their communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has donated more than $40 million in more than 70 countries throughout the world and in all 50 U.S. states.
