π‹πŽπŽπŠ | NDC and Thames International Successfully Concluded the C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. Pilot Program with Growth Exchange at PIH-MEC

(2/3) The Growth Exchange served as the culmination of the three camps under the C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. Pilot Program.

The first camp– Finding Go-to-Market Fit happened from May 29 to 31, 2026; the second camp– Operational Efficiency from June 5 to 7, 2026, and the final Camp – Capital and Funding, had its run on June 11–13, 2026.

During these camps, participants underwent rigorous entrepreneurial training on customer discovery, business model, financial management, and investment readiness.

The camps also provided a series of mentoring sessions from entrepreneurs, investors, and practitioners in preparation for long-term business operations.

(1/3) On June 20, 2026, NDC, in partnership with Thames International had its culminating activity for the Creative Alliance for Technical Assistance and Linkages Yielding Strategic Transformation (C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T.) Pilot Program, named Growth Exchange, and held at the Philippine Innovation Hub - Marikina Enterprise Center (PIH-MEC).

The Growth Exchange provided a venue for Startups and MSMEs to pursue business matching sessions with government agencies, academic institutions, startups enablers, and investors. These sessions explored more opportunities and linkages in the fields of manufacturing, distribution, technology, and other key industries.

The event also further focused on the possible collaboration between government agencies and the private sector in addressing the challenges and gaps within the startup ecosystem – thus looking at garnering more access for startups and MSMEs on achieving sustainable business growth.

π‹πŽπŽπŠ | National Development Company (NDC) Invests β‚±140 Million Additional Equity into Manila Exposition Complex, Inc. to Fund the World Trade Center Expansion Project

The National Development Company (NDC) Board has officially approved and released an additional equity investment of β‚±140 million in the Manila Exposition Complex, Inc. (MECI) to fund the landmark expansion project of the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM).

Following the initial approval on June 3, 2026, the funds were fully disbursed to MECI on June 29, 2026.

The expansion project has a total investment value of β‚±3.0 billion. This multi-phase development is strategically allocated into two key components: β‚±2.60 billion dedicated to a state-of-the-art Hall Expansion, and β‚±0.40 billion allocated for a high-capacity Parking Building. Commercial expansion operations officially projected to commence in May 2028.

Situated at the heart of Metro Manilaβ€”the Philippines' primary commercial and economic epicenterβ€”WTCMM continues to leverage its unmatched geographical advantage. The venue offers immediate, friction-free access to major government institutions, corporate headquarters, international transit hubs, and a robust ecosystem of supporting industries.

competitive edge that cements WTCMM's market dominance, even as alternative provincial venues begin to emerge.

On May 14, 2026, the National Development Company (NDC) successfully underwent its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Recertification Audit, marking its 15th consecutive year of certification. The audit was carried out by the TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, Inc., one of the top certifying bodies in the country.

The audit results highlight NDC’s continued commitment to quality excellence, with five Opportunities for Improvement and no recorded Major and Minor Non-Conformities.

This June, the Philippines marks Judiciary Month, celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Supreme Court.

Declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 1265, s. 2026, the observance calls on government agencies, local government units, the private sector, and civil society to support and partake in the commemoration.

Established on June 11, 1901 through Act No. 136 of the Philippine Commission, the Supreme Court has stood as a pillar of justiceβ€”first led by Chief Justice Cayetano Arellano.

In line with this milestone year, the Court unveils a series of activities under the theme: β€œSC: 125 Years of Tradition and Innovation.”
