เมื่อวันที่ 19 มิถุนายน 2569 นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา เป็นประธานในพิธีถวายพวงมาลาและลงนามถวายความอาลัย สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา ณ ที่ทำการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ หัวหน้าสำนักงานและข้าราชการสำนักงานทีมประเทศไทย ณ กรุงมะนิลา พร้อมคู่สมรสเข้าร่วมในพิธีดังกล่าว
ในโอกาสดังกล่าว เอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมผู้เข้าร่วมได้ถวายความเคารพเบื้องหน้าพระรูปสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา จากนั้น เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ถวายพวงมาลาและกล่าวถวายความอาลัยและน้อมสำนึกในพระกรุณาธิคุณอันหาที่สุดมิได้ ตลอดจนสดุดีพระเกียรติคุณและพระกรณียกิจ ที่ทรงอุทิศพระองค์เพื่อประเทศชาติและประชาชน โดยทรงมีบทบาทสำคัญในฐานะ “นักการทูต” “นักกฎหมาย” และ “นักส่งเสริมสิทธิมนุษยชน” ซึ่งเป็นที่ประจักษ์ในเวทีระหว่างประเทศ ส่งผลให้ทรงได้รับการทูลเกล้าทูลกระหม่อมถวายตำแหน่ง Goodwill Ambassador ของ United Nations Development Fund for Women เพื่อผลักดันการต่อต้านการใช้ความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิง และ Goodwill Ambassador ของ United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) ด้านหลักนิติธรรมและความยุติธรรมทางอาญาสำหรับภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
หลังจากนั้น ผู้เข้าร่วมพิธีได้ยืนสงบนิ่งเป็นเวลา 47 วินาที และได้ร่วมลงนามถวายความอาลัยเพื่อน้อมรำลึกในพระกรุณาธิคุณของสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา
On 19 June 2026, H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines, presided over the Signing of Book of Condolence Ceremony in remembrance of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita at the Chancery of the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila. The Ceremony was attended by Embassy officials, Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Manila along with their spouses.
During the ceremony, the Ambassador led the participants in paying their respect before the portrait of Her Royal Highness, laid a wreath and delivered remarks expressing deep sorrow and gratitude for Her Royal Highness’s contribution to Thailand and the Thai people in distinguished roles and contributions as a diplomat, lawyer and advocate for human rights. Her Royal Highness’ work and achievements on the international stage led to Her recognition and appointments as Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Development Fund for Women, promoting efforts to end violence against women, and Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for the rule of law and criminal justice in Southeast Asia.
The participants then observed 47 seconds of silence in remembrance of Her Royal Highness and signed the Book of Condolences in honor of the legacy, distinguished achievements and benevolence of Her Royal Highness.
