The Department of Trade and Industry - Trade Promotions Group leads in the marketing efforts in increasing exports and direct investments through the implementation of promotional strategies directed at target markets. Under its portfolio are: Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP), Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), Design Center of the Philippines (DCP), Export Marketing Bureau (EMB), Foreign Trade Service Corps (FTSC), Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), and Philippine Trade and Investment Centers (PTICs) abroad. TIPG focuses its efforts on concerns from its stakeholders, promotes foreign investments, and continuously improves the country’s export performance through sector-focused interventions and other trade promotion activities.

The Trade Promotions Group (TPG) is composed of the following bureaus: - Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP) - Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) - Export Marketing Bureau (EMB) - Design Center of the Philippines (Design Center) - Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) As one of the seven functional groups that provide support to DTI, the TPG manages 5 bureaus and 28 overseas trade and investments promotion centers, governed by these objectives: a) Scale up selected globally competitive industries to become world market leaders b) Grow innovative and competitive MSMEs with strong brands that contribute significantly to the national economy c) Undertake targeted and more aggressive investment and export promotion for priority industries d) Pursue strategic trade and investments using a market-driven and value chain business development approach.

The Trade and Investments Promotion Group leads in the marketing efforts of the Department of Trade and Industry in increasing exports and direct investments through the implementation of promotional strategies directed at target markets.
