Thank you for the warm welcome! 🇩🇪Ambassador Pfaffernoschke paid a visit to Bantu Philippines 🇵🇭 last week.

The organization provides social programs including music, dance and art for children and youth from low-income communities. Combined with activities related to education and nutrition they aim to uplift the young and prepare them for a successful life that can inspire their peers. 🙏🏼

Learning about their stories and daily hardships was sometimes shocking, but also inspiring and motivating as well as a testament to the resiliency of these young people. 👥🌏

On the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, we pay tribute to the "blue helmets" serving under the 🇺🇳United Nations flag, who help protect lives, foster stability, and create hope in communities affected by conflict.

We thank all UN Peacekeepers for their service and courage in building a more peaceful world. 💙🕊️

🐠🌊 Happy International Day of Biodiversity! 🌱✨

Supporting biodiversity protection has been main focus of 🇩🇪 German foreign policy for decades. Strong partnerships with countries like the 🇵🇭 Philippines, known as a mega-biodiverse country, focus on oceans, forests, and sustainable livelihoods. One example the project “Solutions for Marine and Coastal Resilience in the Coral Triangle (SOMACORE )” implemented by GIZ Philippines and the Pacific Island Countries, strengthens marine and coastal governance by supporting locally led conservation efforts, from improving the management of marine protected areas and coral reef monitoring. 🌏🐟

Because protecting biodiversity isn’t just about saving species — it’s about securing our future. 🌳🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
