Export Development Council The EDC is a public-private partnership created by virtue of the Export Development Act of 1994 (RA 7844).

The Export Development Council (EDC) was created by virtue of RA7844 (Export Development Act of 1994) to strengthen and institutionalize the national export drive and supporting policy framework. EDC overseas the implementation of the Philippine Export Development Plan (PEDP) and coordinates the formulation and implementation of policy reforms for export.
