Dear of Brgy. Pembo,
The Makati Action Center-Community and Patients Relations Unit (MAC-CPRU) invites you to take part in the Mass Blood Donation on August 25, 2019, from 8 AM to 3 PM, at Pembo Barangay Hall.
This is one of the initiatives of Mayor Abby Binay to gather sufficient blood for residents who are in need of blood supply.
Donors should:
-Be at least 16 to 65 years old
• If minor, should present parent’s consent form
• If first-time donor, up to 60 years old only
• If regular donor, up to 65 years old
-Weigh at least 50 kg and above
-Have blood pressure of 90/60 up to 140/90
-Have heart rate of 60 to 100 bpm
-Have not undergone tattoo procedure/s within the past year
-Have not undergone surgical procedure/s within the past year
-Have no history of travel abroad within the past year
-Have no travel history in Palawan or Mindoro within the past 6 months
-Have at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep
-Have no alcohol intake in the last 8 hours
-Have not smoked cigarette/s 4 hours prior to donation
-Have not taken pain reliever/s in the last 48 hours
-Have not taken aspirin/s within the past month
-Have not taken antibiotics within the past month
-Have no coughs and colds
-Have not undergone blood transfusion within the past year
-If hypersensitive, only donors with controlled blood pressure (with medication) can donate blood
-If diabetic, only donors with controlled blood sugar (through diet or with oral hypoglycemic medication) can donate blood
